For the first time since Democrats in Congress passed the health care bill in March, a majority of U.S. voters believe the measure is likely to be repealed.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 52% of Likely U.S. Voters think it is at least somewhat likely that the health care plan will be repealed. Thirty-three percent (33%) view repeal as unlikely. Those figures include 16% who believe repeal is Very Likely and 5% who believe it is Not at All Likely.

Did you know that the Department of Veterans Affairs spends $175 million every year to maintain hundreds of buildings it does not use, including a pink, octagonal monkey house in Dayton, Ohio ? How about the City of Shreveport who was told they weren't spending their stimulus money fast enough so they hired contractors at a price of $1.5 million (15x the normal price) for mold remediation at Wilkinson Terrace, a development they intend to demolish. The National Science foundation gave Professor Bonnie Nardi $100,000 to analyze and understand the ways in which players of World of Warcraft collaborate.

Muslim Immigrants Get Santa Cancelled in Minnesota - Gateway Pundit

Santa Claus, as portrayed by Dennis Jackson, won’t be visiting students at the Head Start classes in St. Peter this year.

Jackson has made appearances the past four years at the classes for students who need help preparing for school, but this year officials said, “No, no, no.”

The reason: The classes have many immigrant children who don’t celebrate Christmas, says the Mankato Free Press.

Santa’s a little frosted, the paper says.

It kind of burnt me up,” he said.

The official explanation from Chris Marben, who coordinates regional Head Start programs through Mankato-based Minnesota Valley Action Council: “We have Somali families in the program. We’re respecting the wishes of families in the program.”

She didn’t say how many objections were made, but said more than one would be enough to cancel Santa…

Jackson said he’s played Santa with children from other cultures before and they were fully comfortable with him. He said it’s their parents who are being unreasonable.

“They’re not respecting the majority,” he said. “My feeling is (objecting parents) can take their kids out of class for half an hour and let the other kids enjoy it. They should sacrifice, not rule.”

America, The Crab Bucket - Human Events - Michelle Malkin

No matter how soothing the White House overtures to business leaders sounded this week, an inconvenient fact remains: Washington is gripped by crab-in-the-bucket syndrome. And there's no cure in sight.

Put a single crab in an uncovered bucket, and it will find a way to climb up and out on its own. Put a dozen crabs in a bucket, and 11 will fight with all their might to pull down the striver who attempts escape. President Obama sought to reassure 20 CEOs that he wasn't the king crab holding them down: "I want to dispel any notion we want to inhibit your success," he cooed. "We want to be boosters because when you do well, America does well."

Take it all with a huge grain of sea salt.

The politicians on Capitol Hill just got placed on the equivalent of probation by a Tea Party uprising. Yet rather than mend their crooked ways, they're throwing a massive party with our money.

Americans are deeply pessimistic about the state of the country and its future, according to a series of new national polls.

Even if the Supreme Court ultimately agrees that the government cannot require individuals to carry health coverage, the Obama administration could still find a way to make ObamaCare a reality.

WHY ARE DEMOCRATS SO DUMB? Taxpayers About to Get Thrown Under the Omnibus and Porked in the Earmarks, Congress' Job Approval Rating Worst in Gallup History, "The hole that Barack Obama finds himself in" Florida Gunman Blames 'Wealthy' in Facebook Message, Class Warfare Bullshit

Holder and Sebelius: Challenging Obamacare Law is Like Challenging Civil Rights and Opposing Car Insurance - Michelle Malkin

**Written by Doug Powers

The arguments made by Eric Holder and Kathleen Sebelius in their op-ed piece in the Washington Post are tired, ridiculous and desperate, and those are just the parts that make sense.
Here’s one predictable example:
It’s not surprising that opponents, having lost in Congress, have taken to the courts. We saw similar challenges to laws that created Social Security and established new civil rights protections. Those challenges ultimately failed, and so will this one.
This echoes Rep. Clyburn, who referred to health care reform as the “Civil Rights Act of the 21st Century.” How many people went clamoring for waivers from the Civil Rights Act? And as I recall, the Civil Rights Act didn’t mandate that every American purchase civil rights either, but maybe that’s a discussion for another day.
Do Holder and Sebelius recall from which side of the aisle most of the challenges to the Civil Rights Act came (think “Al Gore’s father”)?

Taxpayers About to Get Thrown Under the Omnibus and Porked in the Earmark Again? - The Powers That Be

In spite of the Tea Party revolution and all the spasms about waste and earmarks lately, another porkified monster of a spending bill might soon be force-fed to America and painfully passed through her bowels like roofing nails and shards of glass:
Senate Democrats have filed a $1.1 trillion omnibus spending bill that would fund the government through fiscal year 2011, according to Senate GOP sources.
The 1,924-page bill includes funding to implement the sweeping healthcare reform bill Congress passed earlier this year as well as additional funds for Internal Revenue Service agents, according to a senior GOP aide familiar with the legislation.
Remember all that talk — from both parties — about the evils of earmarks? According to Drudge, there have been 6,488 earmarks identified in the 2,000-page bill.

Can You Dig It? - The American Spectator

One of my favorite bits of practical advice is "when you find yourself in a deep hole, stop digging."

The hole that Barack Obama finds himself in, while largely due to his policy positions, is also a function of his seeming out of his league, a man-child who was elected to an office he was unprepared to hold, perhaps the only candidate for president who made Sarah Palin look like an experienced and worldly statesman in comparison (and who continues to perform that remarkable feat today).

Obama is not offering much new in the way of policy -- fortunately for the nation, still suffering from a tremendous bout of indigestion over Obamacare, cap-and-trade (being implemented by the EPA regardless of lack of congressional action), Don't Ask, Don't Tell, and his failed effort to shutter Guantanamo Bay (because Muslim radicals in Yemen will hate us so much less if their Mohammedan brothers are kept in frigid downstate Illinois instead of their current Caribbean resort).

Thus, his biggest ongoing issue is the reinforcement of the perception among Americans and foreigners alike that America has its most unpresidential president since at least Jimmy Carter, and perhaps in its history.

Florida Gunman Blames 'Wealthy' in Facebook Message - The American Spectotor
A gunman who opened fire during a Florida school board meeting before apparently committing suicide left a "testament" on his Facebook page that blamed the "wealthy" for his crime.
Clay Duke, 56, pulled a pistol during a Tuesday school board
meeting in Panama City, Fla., and fired several shots, according to press accounts. A security officer for the school system shot and wounded Duke, who then fatally shot himself, police told
Before pulling the gun, Duke used a can of red spray-paint to make the letter "V" inside a circle on a wall of the meeting room.
This was evidently a reference to the 2006 movie V for Vendetta, in which a character uses terrorist tactics to fight an oppressive government. While holding board members and the
superintendent at gunpoint, Duke complained that his wife had been fired by the school system.
According to ABC News and other sources, state records show Duke had a criminal record,
having served a four-year prison term for aggravated stalking and other charges.
On his Facebook profile, Duke left a diatribe portraying himself as the victim of an unfair system:
Some people (the government sponsored media) will say I was evil, a monster (V)... no... I was just born poor in a country where the Wealthy manipulate, use, abuse, and economically enslave 95% of the population. Rich Republicans, Rich Democrats...
same-same... rich... they take turns fleecing us... our few dollars... pyramiding the wealth for themselves. The 95%... the us, in US of A, are the neo slaves of the Global South. Our Masters, the Wealthy, do, as they like to us...
Duke's Facebook page quoted a statement that investor Warren Buffett recently made to Ben Stein: "There's class warfare, all right, but it's my class, the rich class, that's making war, and we're winning." On his Facebook page, Duke also described his religion as "humanist" and referred visitors to the Web site, TheProgressive Mind.

Ok I’m gonna take this moment to testify. In case some of you white people are not aware in some black churches folks are asked to stand up in front of the congregation and “testify” to some personal transgressions or to atone for some misstep or misdeeds in life.
I read not only this piece but a number of pieces recently where people seem to have this increasingly need to blame fucking everyone for why shit is fucked up in their lives or why they are broke while the dude down the street seems to be rolling in dead presidents.

I don’t have a lot of money, but I’m not necessarily living paycheck to paycheck. I live very modestly. I grew up in a nice neighborhood and as a kid I always had money well until the later years when my father gambled it away.

As a teen I was pissed because my father again because of his gambling decided that he was going to be frugal and could not buy me a car so I had to reconstruct a beat up old ass avocado green Ford Pinto out of parts from a wrecking yard. But folks we were not “poor.”

In my neighborhood I lived near a number of wealthy athletes, Joe Morgan, Reggie Jackson and numerous members of the Oakland A’s World Series teams of the 70’s and Oakland Raiders.
So I saw folks with shit loads of money and loved their homes in the area but I was never envious.
Maybe because I was not dirt poor is why I can’t process the notion of class warfare or being envious of someone because they have more money in the bank than I do.
In addition I have never understood the mindset to ‘’blame” those that have more than I do for my misfortune as this man apparently did.

I’m not going to retire with lots of money. I have a wonderful job but make a modest university salary. If you saw where I work you would think I make significantly more than I do and maybe that is what makes me content. I make the most out of my skillsets, I have ultimate flexibility, get to meet fascinating people, and I can still make time while doing my job to engage in my hobby of blogging.
I don’t know what dollar value you can put on the happiness your job provides, it would take double what I make now to even consider going elsewhere especially at my age. I know I can do this job and still enjoy it for 30 more years at least.

I say all of that because like I said I don’t make a lot of money, I’m not even close to being “rich’ but I sure as hell don’t or won’t blame anyone for why I don’t have dead presidents packing my wallet.

I know exactly what decisions I made throughout my life that has put me in the financial situation I am in right now.

1) Not going to college.
2) Not getting a degree while in military.
3) Not staying in military long enough to retire.
4) Buying a home way too soon while in the military when we were perfectly fine on base housing.
5) Buying my first new car when I really did not need to. (10 days after purchasing my first wife hit a deer, saved her life and our baby) I swore to never buy a new car again.
6) Moving into a neighborhood where the property values significantly dropped.
7) Not paying closer attention to the family finances (lots of personal details here that I won’t go into)
8) Purchase of other high dollar items that I did not need.
9) Cashing in on vested retirement to pay off bills (this affects me today of course)
10) Not saving enough… ect

Folks I can go on and on and none of this has anything to do with a bunch of rich greedy bastards fucking me over.
The reason why folks who are broke and don’t have money can all be traced back to stupid decisions that were made for a variety of reasons.

Yesterday I watched documentaries on Jamie Foxx and Tyler Perry. Both grew up dirt poor, Jamie Foxx’s biological parents flat out rejected him even after he became successful. His innate drive is what propelled him from unrecognizable comedian and bit role player in movies to a triple threat star.

Tyler’s dad was and abusive father beaten and discouraged him throughout his young life, but he survived and pursued his dreams but still failed numerous times, investing his own money in play production and continually failing even to the point of living out of his car. Now dude is sporting a 30,000 square foot mansion, his own production studio and is a household name in the entertainment industry.

There are these types of American success stories that can be told by thousands of people. Yes while some back their way or inherit their way to riches some earn it and work their asses off to achieve it.
I will be the first to admit that I don’t have that kind of drive and determination. For a time in my early 30’s I had some significant political ambitions, and could have attained them but family issues frankly crushed those dreams.

Now even though I live modestly and my one guilty pleasure is driving my cool little car I don’t have a lot of “wants.” There is only one thing missing in my life right now and if that comes about then I will be cool and it has nothing to do with money… far from it.

That is the thing folks there are a lot of rich people in the world but I can tell you no amount of money makes up for the personal transgressions we all face in life.
A poor or challenging upbringing, personal enemies, personal demons, cheating spouses, fucked up children, mental health issues, drinking, drugs, the obsession to succeed and meet the expectations of those around you, lack of a private life, the fear of losing it all (think Jerry Jones on a recent 60 minutes segment) this dude despite being worth billions is scared to death of losing it all.

The guy in the story above ranted:

I was just born poor in a country where the Wealthy manipulate, use, abuse, and economically enslave 95% of the population. Rich Republicans, Rich Democrats...
same-same... rich... they take turns fleecing us... our few dollars... pyramiding the wealth for themselves.

No shit Dick Tracy but that does not have shit to do with being rich because poor people are just as fucked up and manipulative. Poor people will rob and steal when the opportunity presents itself just like rich people. Poor people feel a sense of entitlement that everyone in society owes them; they are like give me my gubment benefits, food stamps and whatever else Democrats want to provide for me.

Poor people will buy shit they don’t need like expensive TV’s, video gaming systems, big ticket furniture items and cars they can’t even begin to afford.
I see kids driving cars nicer than mine working at McDonald. How often do you see idiot ass Negros driving around in fucked up cars with rims costing more than the car itself or Rednecks driving in monster trucks larger than the trailer they are living in.

People in general are just fucked up it has nothing to do with how much someone has or does not have.
This is why I have such disdain for the Christmas season, not in the religious sense but even when we are in such fucked up financial states people will spend shit loads of money buying meaningless shit for themselves or their kids while bills go unpaid and they go further and further in debt.

What is worse is we all know when parents buy shit for their kids they are not buying that shit because they “luv” their kids they buy it because it is an ego thing.

We all buy and consume because just as I would buy a car or some other shit I did not need it is no different than a smoker taking a drag off a cigarette. Buying makes some of us feel better, or feel complete.

Now because of all of the advertisements and peer pressure folks go out and shop and consume because it is their duty and they have this obsessive need to make themselves feel good by buying when all other aspects of their lives are fucked up, it’s a mask.

Then when the bill come due and when we are all pissed off we ask ourselves who is to blame for my broke ass… oh sure it must be some rich mutherfucker… Obama, could never be me or the decisions I made.

I mentioned my daughter before despite being such a smart and pretty young woman has made countless mistakes and bad choices and is now in a hole she unlikely can ever dig herself out of.

Why are some folks rich or poor? Because of the choices we (they) make.

Rich and poor do not only apply to our monetary condition, it also applies to our personal and spiritual riches as well. When some of us learn to address that aspect of our lives we can learn to abandon the class warfare bullshit and stop blaming.

Just thinking out loud folks…

Peace, Gaius

Obamacare Ruled Unconstitutional; Americans Favor Repeal, Obama's Lies About His Broken Promises, Dickhead Vilsack; Climate Change One of the Greatest Threats Facing Our Planet...Really!? Seriously!?

Obamacare Ruled Unconstitutional; Americans Favor Repeal Almost 2 to 1 - The Weekly Standard

Yesterday's ruling by a federal district judge, declaring that Obamacare's individual mandate is unconstitutional, is a noteworthy blow to the highly unpopular overhaul and its ultimate prospects for survival. The New York Times writes:

A federal district judge in Virginia ruled on Monday that the keystone provision in the Obama health care law is unconstitutional, becoming the first court in the country to invalidate any part of the sprawling act....
The individual mandate – the requirement that Americans buy federally approved health insurance whether they want it or not – is, indeed, Obamacare's "keystone provision." Without it, younger or healthier Americans would sensibly opt out of buying health insurance (until they get sick or injured) thereby leaving Obamacare's taxpayer-subsidized insurance "exchanges" to cover everyone else in the non-group market, regardless of preexisting conditions or costs.

Medicare's chief actuary has already projected that, over ten years, Obamacare would raise overall U.S. health costs by over $300 billion in relation to projected U.S. health costs without Obamacare. But without the individual mandate, Obamacare would cause health costs to skyrocket – by a lot more than "just" $300 billion. Thus, without the individual mandate, Obamacare couldn't realistically stand.

Obama's Lies About His Broken Promises - TownHall

By: Chuck Norris

Last week, President Barack Obama was backpedaling like a circus unicycle rider, after his compromise on extending Bush-era tax cuts for the country's top 2 percent of income earners. Because he had pledged repeatedly during his presidential campaign to raise those earners' taxes, he instantly was slammed by his political base. Even pro-Obama comedic commentators Jon Stewart and Bill Maher were left humor-speechless.

Feeling defensive and maybe even a bit insecure, Obama fired back in anger against people across the political spectrum. Wielding his verbal sword, the president poked and prodded: "Take a tally. Look at what I promised during the campaign. There's not a single thing that I've said that I would do that I have not either done or tried to do. And if I haven't gotten it done yet, I'm still trying to do it."

"Not a single thing"?

Well, as a fighting champion who takes taunting seriously, I thought I'd take the president up on his challenge for us to take a tally.

What I discovered is that of the more than 500 promises Obama made during his candidacy, even according to the pro-Obama website PolitiFact's "Obameter," his scorecard reads: 123 promises kept, 39 compromised, 24 broken, 82 stalled, 232 in the works and three not yet rated. What that coddled language boils down to is this: Even according to those on the political left, Obama has fulfilled 123 promises and left 380 pledges dangling farther than participles.
Army Doc: Deployment Orders Illegal Without Pres. Obama's Birth Records- From 7 News Denver via Free RepublicCourt Hears Greeley Army Doc's Deployment Refusal Case
FORT MEADE, Md. -- A military court was set to hear the case Tuesday of an Army doctor charged with refusing to deploy to Afghanistan because he says he doubts whether President Barack Obama was born in the U.S. and therefore questions his eligibility to be commander in chief.

Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin, an 18-year Army veteran from Greeley, disobeyed orders to report earlier this year to Fort Campbell in Kentucky to prepare for deployment, saying he believed the orders were illegal.

In videos posted on YouTube, Lakin aligned himself with so-called "birthers" who question whether Obama is a natural-born citizen as the U.S. Constitution requires for presidents.

Folks this is such a non-issue but I always find it amusing that people are perfectly willing to waste their fucking time and jeopardize their careers to try and prove a point.
I will say this, I believe that one day in the distant future long after I cease giving a shit about Obama we will find out something serious was hidden that could have disqualified him to be president.

However to me the point is this, despite all of the red flags that had nothing to do with his birthplace presidential eligibility folks still gave money to and voted for this incompetent bastard. If the media had done its job and if the average voter paid fucking attention to who they were voting for we would not even have to bring up his citizenship.

The same people who would take weeks and months selecting the right automobile, or months or years picking the right home, time and attention to selecting their kids school (provided they had a choice), women spending hours picking just the right dress or bra… folks decided to vote for a president who clearly had no substance in his message and bamboozled people into voting for him based on “HOPE.” Or in the case of ignorant ass Negros his skin color.

His birthplace is not the problem, the sanity of the American voter and the professional malpractice of the media was the blame for the mess we are all in now.

Government Wants ‘No Refusal’ Policy on Drunken Driving - CNS News

Washington (AP) - When 18 people died in alcohol-related crashes in his Louisiana parish two years ago, Sheriff Craig Webre looked for new ways to combat drunken driving. Using laws already on the books, the sheriff found a simple answer.

Webre's department west of New Orleans started using a "no refusal" policy for suspected drunken drivers who declined breath tests. When someone pulled over for drunken driving refused to take a Breathalyzer, Webre's deputies sought prompt search warrants from judges to take blood samples and charge suspects if their blood-alcohol levels exceeded the legal limit of 0.08.

The number of people killed in alcohol-linked crashes in Lafourche Parish fell to 11 deaths in 2009. Drunken driving arrests doubled. This year, only five people have died in such crashes in the parish.

"The statistics and the lives that have been saved cannot be refuted," Webre said.

The Transportation Department highlighted the no refusal policy on Monday as a way to crack down on drunken driving during the holiday season. Nearly 11,000 people were killed in alcohol-impaired crashes in the U.S. in 2009. Two-thirds of the deaths involved a driver with a blood-alcohol content higher than the legal limit of .08.

A business owner in Nobesville, Inidana has been selling soap with racist slogans. Residents of his town have come to support him after he was criticized for the racist soap. Fox 59 Reports:

The controversy over soap with racist labels being sold at a Noblesville store continues. In addition to those who are offended by the store selling these items, there is also growing support for the vendor who has been ordered to take the soaps off the shelves or face eviction.

After hearing about the soap, Carolyn Gentner bought two bars including one labeled “Kolored Kids.”

“I don’t think they’re offensive, I think they’re nostalgic,” she told Fox59 News. “I believe if this is going to be an issue, we should be in Kroger for selling Aunt Jemima syrup.

REDNECK FUCK:  Wisconsin Man Posts “No Negros Allowed” Sign On Future Business
Milwaukee — A sign excluding black people from a future business is enraging some people in a small town. Now, the man who put it up is speaking out.

Federal and State law says if the business is open to the public, prohibiting people based on race is illegal. If the man’s proposed gentlemen’s club was going to be a private club, then an African American historian says he could discriminate. Legalities aside, his is a sign that many say is appalling.

Prior posted his ‘No Negros Allowed’ sign after he says he had some problems with black people in the past and needed to make a policy against them.
KU research shows Asian-American men earn less than white men - Lawrence Journal-World
A Kansas University sociology researcher has found that Asian-American men earn significantly less than their similarly qualified white counterparts.

The gap is even true for Asian-American men who were born in the United States and speak perfect English. They earn 8 percent less than whites, even after factoring in college majors, places of residence and levels of education.

ChangHwan Kim, assistant professor of sociology at KU, led the study.

“We have not reached a color-blind society yet,” he said. “As an individual, you can reach as high as president,” but ethnic groups as a whole have yet to reach full equality with whites.

If you think you've heard the last of those infamous audio tapes from the Nixon White House, you'd be wrong.
The Nixon Presidential Library and Museum released 265 new hours of tapes to the public. And like the other thousands of hours of tape previously released, they do not show the former president in the best light.
In these tapes, we hear Richard Nixon's less-than-enlightened views on blacks, Jews and other ethnic groups. Basically, he repeats every stereotype we've ever heard as if they were fact.
About blacks, this is what Nixon had to say in a conversation with his secretary, Rose Woods, about Secretary of State William Rogers' views about them.
"Bill Rogers has got somewhat - and to his credit it’s a decent feeling - but somewhat, sort of, a sort of blind spot on the black thing because he’s been in New York,’ Nixon said on the tapes.

Is Peyton Manning Trying to Get His Black Coach Fired?
Before we even start, let me just say that this post will be highly speculative, inflammatorily racist, and probably even flat our wrong but hey, that’s what I’m here for!

I’ve never been a fan of Peyton Manning. I thought he was a bum coming out of Tennessee and seemingly had those thoughts confirmed when, after Manning’s four straight years of losing to the University of Florida, Tee Martin, the very next quarterback and a Black dude at that, won the National Championship with Manning’s old Volunteers.

I was convinced that Manning would go the way of Dan Marino.

A bum yes, but a highly celebrated, statistically spectacular bum that could do anything and everything but win when it counted.

However, head coach Tony Dungy, a Black man, got Manning a Super Bowl ring in 2007, simultaneously becoming the first Black head coach to earn one himself.

Then strangely, oddly, ridiculously, Dungy resigned after the 2008 season.

As a condition of his resignation, Dungy left assistant coach and fellow Black man Jim Caldwell in charge of the Colts from the 2009 season on.

In his first season as head coach, Caldwell guided the Colts to a 14-0 start and a Super Bowl appearance that resulted in a loss to the New Orleans Saints.

This year, going into last night’s game against the Tennessee Titans, the Colts were 6-6 and Peyton Manning had thrown 11 interceptions in his last 3 games.

Read that stat again: 11 interceptions in 3 games and four of them have gone the other way for touchdowns.

Now, I’m not suggesting that Peyton Manning’s an overt racist. Still, as the corresponding approval ratings for former president George W. Bush and current president Barack Obama attest, more Americans would rather follow a white nincompoop than a Black genius.

Was America really ready for a black president?

By LYDIA HILLIARD - Philadelphia Daily News

TWENTY-five months ago, I watched in awe as people of all colors stood shoulder to shoulder in solidarity. Some even wept with joy. The moment was Nov. 4, 2008, the night our 44th president, Barack Obama, was elected. Our first black president!
The euphoria I felt was unexplainable. America had spoken - enough of the current administration, enough of the rich getting richer, and no one giving a hoot about the poor. Enough of industries drying up, enough of the war - and enough of George Bush!

I remember sometime in 2007, sitting in the doctor's office waiting for my annual physical, browsing through a magazine. On the cover was the picture of a handsome young man whom I'd never heard of with one of the most interesting names I'd ever heard - Barack Obama, a fresh new face in the politics. But even then I possessed skepticism that the U.S. would actually elect a black president.

Now, post-Nov. 4, everyone appears to have jumped ship. Obama has two more years until the next election, and people have already written him off as a failure because, amazingly, he didn't turn out to be the messiah they'd expected.

So since there seems to be very few voices espousing our president, I've decided to be at least one saying, People, it's not over yet!
I'm really sick of articles like these I have been reading on black websites but let me just say again for the record just in case any sane Negros read this. As a black man I don't give a fuck what color the president is. All I care about is whether or not he is a fucking idiot and is competent enough to run the country without screwing shit up.
I knew from the first time Obama became a serious candidate for president that he was not smart enough nor did he have the mindset to move this country in the right direction... because he is a left wing ideologue.
(read: Barack Obama -- philosophical pragmatist or left-wing ideologue?)
Now that the country is now indeed screwed up black folks still want to make excuses for him because in the minds of idiot black folks color trumps performance.
But lets not forget black journalists were given seed money to spread positive jive on black websites and blogs. Hopefully when that money runs out you will stop seeing such moronic drivel.

Middle America's Economic Woes - Real Clear Politics

The unemployment rate for people with a college degree or higher is 5 percent. If that were the rate for everyone, it'd be the 1990s again.

But college graduates are only 30 percent of the country. For the rest of the population, the jobs picture is grimmer. For people without a high-school degree, the unemployment rate is more than 15 percent. If that were the rate for everyone, it'd be the 1930s again.

The unemployment rates are part of a growing divergence between the fortunes of the college educated and the rest of the country, including proverbial Middle America. In his new study, "When Marriage Disappears," University of Virginia scholar Brad Wilcox details how the college-educated have embraced traditional mores and habits - especially the formation of stable families - while they erode among everyone else.

Our elites, broadly defined as the top third of our society, aren't nearly as decadent as advertised. According to Wilcox's data, the highly educated (with a college diploma or higher) are less likely to divorce, less likely to have children out of wedlock, and less likely to commit adultery than the moderately educated (high-school degree or some college) and the least-educated (no high-school diploma).

While I don't have a college degree... I agree...

Hands off the First Amendment! - Enter State Right

By Henry Lamb

"Congress shall make no law…abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press…," but the progressives on the Federal Communications Commission think their job is to do just that – regulate the speech of individuals, and of the press. Speaking to the Columbia School of Journalism, FCC Commissioner Michael Copps, spelled out his idea for a "community values test" to be applied to media outlets with every license-renewal application.

This is not a new idea from Copps. In 2007, at a Walter Cronkite Awards dinner, he told journalists that license holders should be required to meet a laundry list of standards that the FCC dictates. What happened to the idea that in a free market, consumers set the standards? If the market does not like what the broadcaster is producing, the broadcaster will soon be out of business.

Hampden condos' flag policy sparks controversy
Hammocks? Yep.

Wreaths? Sure. Pick your size and shape.

Christmas trees? You bet.

Lawn chairs? That’s fine.

Welcome signs? Why not?

Flower pots? Of course.

Those are many of the things that one may find on any front porch.

Perhaps an American flag?

Not so fast.

“You’ve got to be kidding me!” That was Darla Coombs’ response when she was told that the Highland Ridge Condominium Association wanted her American flag removed from its mount on the front of her condo.

“They told me if I felt I needed to fly the flag that I could do so as long as I put it in the back where it can’t be seen,” Coombs said during a recent telephone interview.

Why Obama’s abdication at Friday’s press conference matters

The surreal week in Washington was brought to a fitting climax on Friday when Barack Obama handed the presidency over to Bill Clinton for 20 minutes. “I’m going to take off,” he said.

“You’re in good hands,” the president informed the press corps, patting his predecessor on the back. And take off the president did.

It wasn’t an official, unofficial or illicit transfer of power in any way, of course. But it somehow felt like it.

What happened here has, to my knowledge, never happened. When the president finishes speaking, whenever the president finishes speaking, the event ends. Period.

House Democrats still whining about Obama

WASHINGTON — As House Democrats met privately to weigh the tax deal negotiated by the White House, an angry chant spontaneously rolled across the room.

“Just say no, just say no,” rebellious lawmakers cried. Vulgar words were aimed at President Obama. Incensed members spoiled for a fight.

The fury coursing through the meeting last Thursday in the basement of the Capitol was just the latest manifestation of the foul mood of House and Senate Democrats as they suffer through the final days of the 111th Congress, watching their power ebb while scores of them cast their last votes.

Media Creates New Palin Scandal! Sarah Accused of Bringing Hairdresser on Haiti Trip - Free Republic

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin traveled to Haiti this weekend as a guest of the Rev. Franklin Graham and Samaritan's Purse to spotlight the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the earthquake and cholera-stricken Caribbean (half an) island nation. Instead she has found herself embroiled in a scandal, accused of bringing a hair stylist on the trip to make herself look good for the cameras and "photo-ops.".

The Associated Press transmitted a photo from Haiti of Palin captioned, "Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, center, has her hair done during a visit to a cholera treatment center set up by the NGO Samaritan's Purse in Cabaret, Haiti, Saturday Dec. 11, 2010. Palin arrived Saturday in Haiti as part of a brief humanitarian mission. Dieu Nalio Chery / AP"

That photo and caption set off rabid attacks on Palin from the Huffington Post, the U.K.'s Daily Mail and, of course, Palingates.

Top gun dealers for Mexican cartels are in Texas...

Like it or Not: Mexico is America’s Next Afghanistan - Red State

With the exception of, perhaps, Texas governor Rick Perry, no public official wants to publicly admit an obvious fact: The United States of America will likely be forced to invade Mexico. It’s not a matter of if, it’s a matter of when.  The question then becomes: What to do with Mexico after we invade it and wipe out the drug cartels (as much as can be). Does the United States merely return Mexico to a nation state of corrupt politicians, failed economic policies, and lawlessness, or do we annex Mexico and turn it into the 51st state?
For many of us, there is a certain false security in believing that, since most of America’s streets are not filled with the murder and mayhem that is going on just South of our borders, we have nothing to worry about. The feeling that most Americans likely have is: Well, it’s their problem, not ours. However, that illusion of security is quickly being eroded with the stories of American police officers being threatened by Mexican drug cartels, of kidnappings and drug murders in Arizona and Texas, of control of certain parts of Arizona and forays into New Mexico and Colorado by drug cartels, of teenagers being turned into hitmen, and American tourists being kidnapped or killed while on vacation in Mexico.
Mexico, with its kidnappings and more than 28,000 murders in the last four years alone, is being terrorized. Now, instead of economic refugees coming across our borders in search of jobs and income, humanitarian refugees are fleeing Mexico in order to stay alive. However, despite all of that, if one thought that only certain parts of Mexico are under the control of the cartels, that illusion was shattered on Tuesday when this map (see upper right) was presented on a heart-breaking post on RedState that shows that almost all of Mexico has been taken over by drug cartels.

Mark Levin – Republicans Have Nothing To Be Giddy About; Don’t Allow Democrats To Shape The Message - Flopping Aces

You know I’m a little concerned, I see all these Republican operatives on tv and radio, they’re very giddy. Republican columnists, Republican websites, they’re all excited. Think they have Obama on the run. Think the Democrats are imploding. All giddy.

Well count me out. I’m worried. They have nothing to be giddy about. I’m worried, very worried, and let me tell you why.

You’ve got Obama being attacked for not being radical enough…and he’s a radical! And so the big media and Obama’s staff are positioning him as a centrist or a moderate of some kind. And he’s positioning himself as a populist. So the more they squawk on the nutjob left, of which Obama is a member, the more reasonable he’s going to appear. And this worries me.

Watch even 'Barack Obama' doubt his birthplace!

'Saturday Night Live' character says he's beginning to wonder

"Saturday Night Live" has again drawn upon the ongoing issue of President Barack Obama's refusal to release his long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate in a comedy sketch in which the "president" says he's beginning to doubt his own birthplace.

The NBC program premiered a skit in which Obama, portrayed by comedian Fred Armisen, explains how he's been suffering from Stockholm Syndrome – the condition in which captives eventually sympathize with their captors – after being "held hostage" by Republicans over recent tax law negotiations.

Armisen's "Obama" then quotes Rush Limbaugh, extols the virtues of "trickle-down economics" and announces his plans to go on tour with Glenn Beck and Bill O'Reilly before making the following joke about his birthplace:

"In closing," the "president" says, "let me reassure you that however long it takes, this nation's current troubles will pass because you Americans never have and never will give up. I say 'you Americans,' because even though I always thought I was born here, uh, lately I begin to have my doubts."

Obama’s coming death blow for the economy - Flopping Aces

Gas prices are approaching $3 per gallon and may go considerably higher. $100 a barrel oil is seen as likely. Obama has choked off some oil production in the Gulf and made us more dependent on foreign oil. The economy is in tatters. Unemployment is at 9.8%. Barack Obama has brought this country to its knees. Now comes the knockout punch.

Deportation Distortions - The American Spectator

Barack Obama might tell Hispanic voters that Republican opponents of "comprehensive immigration reform" are "enemies" who deserve to be punished. His Justice Department might have sued Arizona. His appointees in the Department of Homeland Security and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services may circulate memos talking about how to implement amnesty administratively if Congress won't act. Unionized customs officers and border patrol agents may protest that immigration laws are going unenforced.

Don't let any of that fool you, however: Barack Obama is tough on illegal immigration. The proof? He has presided over a record number of deportations. The New York Times, the Washington Post, and irritated liberal bloggers reported that more illegal immigrants have been removed from the country under Obama than ever before. "When the secretary tells you that the numbers are at an all-time high, that's straight, on the merits, no cooking of the books," John Morton, Obama's head of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), boasted at an October press conference.
