Afternoon Reads... Idiot Gore again, Scan Negro Democrats, Democrat equals financial failure, Liberals love affair with wealth redistribution

I'm a few days late on this but still interesting...

Organizer of “racist” UC party was BLACK! Another “hate crime hoax.” Media censoring the truth. - World Net Daily

Last week a party – the Compton Cookout – was held off-campus near the University of California San Diego, and the firestorm it has created has been massive: Protest marches, teach-ins, protesters who walked out of the teach-ins and campus investigations have ensued. The administration for its part immediately placed blame on perpetrators they believed to be responsible – a so-called white fraternity, Pi Kappa Alpha.

Many have cited, with outrage, the Facebook Compton Cookout invitation urging males to wear "straight up jerseys" or a "White T (size XXXL smallest acceptable)." Females were asked to come as "ghetto chicks" who "don't speak well, have short, nappy hair" and "usually have gold teeth, start fights and drama, and wear cheap clothes."

The rest of the invitation went on to describe the location of the party and the food and drinks available, such as chicken and watermelon.

Despite the denials by Pi Kappa Alpha that they were not behind the cookout, the blame remains on PKA and its white members. Garron Engstrom, chapter president of the Pi Kappa Alpha, said, "The fraternity regrets the display of ignorance and error of judgment made by any individual members who may have attended or were associated via social media with the racially offensive party." The administration continued its Mike Nifong-like prosecution of anyone white who may have attended the event.

The truth was finally revealed on my radio show last night when the true organizer, a self-described "black, crime comedian" named Jiggaboo Jones claimed responsibility for the event. In fact, Mr. Jones disclosed that similar parties have been held in past years going back as far as 2005. Mr. Jones further stated that he recently hosted a similar event with an even raunchier title at UNLV just a few days ago.

Silly ass people...

Is It Cyclical or Is It Climate Change?

Good Morning America weatherman Sam Champion links a heat wave to climate change but the winter storms were just a season pattern.

Champion is just following a pattern set by other global warming alarmists that paint every heat wave as evidence of climate change as they prefer to call it but dismiss any notion that severe winter storms disprove that the planet is warming.

Stop Al Gore Before He Lies Again..and Again…and Again! - AIM

The New York Times once again is Al Gore's "enabler", publishing a February 28 opinion editorial, "We Can't Wish Away Climate Change", despite the mounting evidence that global warming was and is a complete fabrication.

In November 2009, the Telegraph, a British newspaper, carried a story, "Al Gore could become world's first carbon billionaire", so let us disabuse ourselves of the notion that Gore just wants to save the world.

Heavily invested in the "carbon credits" scam and technologies whose success depend on people believing fairy tales about "clean energy" alternatives such as wind and solar energy, Gore has enriched himself by trumpeting the biggest hoax of the modern era.

White House Not Ready to Deny Democrat's Claim That Administration Offered Him Taxpayer-Funded Job If He Wouldn’t Run Against Sen. Specter - CNS News

(CNSNews.com) - White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said Monday he would have to “check on it” before he could deny Rep. Joe Sestak’s (D.-Pa.) claim that the administration had offered him a high-ranking job in the administration in exchange for not mounting a primary challenge against incumbent Sen. Arlen Specter (D.-Pa.), who switched parties last year, briefly giving the Democrats a 60-vote majority in the Senate.

“So, at this point, the White House is not ready to deny what Sestak said?” CNSNews.com asked Gibbs.

“No. I think I said I would check on it, on the situation,” said Gibbs.

Inhofe Ranked Most Conservative Senator, Sherrod Brown Most Liberal

(CNSNews.com) – Sen. James Inhofe (R-Okla.) is the “most conservative” member of the Senate, and Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio) is the “most liberal,” according to National Journal magazine.

In response to the report, Inhofe issued a statement on Feb. 26, saying, “I strongly believe that the conservative principles of less government, lower taxes, greater individual freedom and responsibility, and a strong national defense are the best answers for our nation.

EXCLUSIVE: Inhofe Blasts Gore Over Climategate - Human Events

Former vice president Al Gore made his first public remarks since the Climategate scandal broke in a very lengthy New York Times op-ed published on Saturday. Gore, a green technology hawker and, as a result, the first reported green technology billionaire, appeared completely out of touch with the reality of the magnitude of the worldwide climate hoax scandals.

I caught up with Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.), top Republican on the Senate Environment & Public Works Committee yesterday for an exclusive chat about Gore’s new diatribe and the EPA endangerment finding.

SEN. JIM INHOFE: In a way, it’s kind of humorous. And yet, you have to feel a little bit sorry for Al Gore. He’s not been available ever since the first Climategate took place. And that was before Copenhagen. And he’s still in denial. … He has played it down. It’s something that is just a misunderstanding or a miscommunication. And it just seems like, this article that he wrote, if you dissect it, everything in there is stuff that has been refuted. And he can’t deny it. Although he’s in denial, so he is denying it.”

Congressional Black Caucus Objects to Rangel’s Removal

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is facing a new conundrum as the swell of voices calling for the removal of House Ways & Means Chairman Charlie Rangel (D-N.Y.) begins to build.

Sources on the Hill tell HUMAN EVENTS that the latest problem involves the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) and their objection to Rangel’s ouster as the first member of their caucus to hold the chairmanship of the very powerful tax writing committee.

To complicate matters, one source says the CBC is pressuring Pelosi to give the slot to another CBC member, Rep. John Lewis (D-Ga.). The main problem with that scenario is she’d have to “reach down five people,” passing over three other committee members in line to do so: Rep. Pete Stark (D-Calif.), Rep. Sander Levin (D-Mich.) and Rep. Jim McDermott (D-Wash.).

Stark is a 78-year-old bombastic Californian notorious for his lack of decorum. One source told me, “Pelosi really doesn’t want to see Stark in the chairmanship.”

In case you are not aware... Democrats pay attention or maybe you are use to the people you vote for being a bunch of criminal bastards...

Charlie Rangel is a tax cheat. The guy in charge of writing tax laws in this country is a tax cheat. Until now, the House ethics committee didn't seem all that interested. Not an eyebrow raised in Rangel's general direction. But the House ethics committee finally "admonished" Rangel for accepting two trips to the Caribbean that were paid for by corporations. The committee's report said that Rangel "violated the House gift rule by accepting payment and reimbursement for travel to 2007 and 2008 conferences." As we know, this is just another bullet point on the list of the unethical failures of Charlie Rangel. Here is one that we recently compiled:

*Failure to report over $1 million in outside income and $3 million in business transactions as required by the House,

*Failure to disclose at least $650,000 in assets he had previously failed to list on his House financial disclosure forms,

*Failure to disclose to the IRS or on his financial disclosure forms $75,000 in rental income for a beach villa in the Dominican Republic,

*Violation of state laws by claiming three primary residences and breaking New York City regulations by maintaining four rent-controlled apartments,

*Violation of House rules by using congressional letterhead to solicit donations for an education center bearing his name at City College of New York, and

*Delinquency in paying his property taxes on two New Jersey parcels and failure to report the sale of a $1.3 million brownstone.

Charlie Rangel is among that elite class of Congress who believes that they are entitled to their position of power in Washington. He is part of some special class, which places him and his actions above the rule of law. Some might call that arrogance.

Robert Gibbs calls Senator Jim Bunning irrational - Christian Science Monitor

White House spokesman Robert Gibbs on Tuesday stepped up the war of words that the Obama administration has been directing at Sen. Jim Bunning (R) of Kentucky, saying at a morning meeting with reporters, “I don’t know how you negotiate with the irrational.”

Since this past Thursday, Senator Bunning, who is not running for reelection, has been blocking an extension of unemployment and health benefits for jobless workers. He did it again Tuesday morning, objecting to a request by fellow a Republican, Sen. Susan Collins of Maine, to extend the expired benefits for 30 days.

Mr. Gibbs has acknowledged trying to shame Bunning to get him to change his course. “Sometimes even using their names doesn’t create the shame you would think it would,” Gibbs said Monday.

Bunning’s argument is that the measure should be paid for because it would add to the current year’s massive federal budget deficit. He has proposed using unspent funds from last year’s $787 billion stimulus package, but Democrats objected.

In the view of Democrats, Bunning is making the Republican Party look like it does not care for the unemployed, an unhelpful bit of political theater in an election year.

Speaking to reporters in his West Wing office Tuesday morning, Gibbs said, “What it simply is going to mean is ... more people are simply going to need the help.” He added, “I and others fail to understand” Bunning’s position.

From Bortz:

Forbes.com has developed some information that you might find interesting. First of all, here's a list of the five states that are in the worst financial shape:

New York,
New Jersey

... and the list of the five states in the best condition financially:

New Hampshire

Now ... let's look at the politics. The five states in the worst financial condition are solidly Democrat. They are the bluest of the blue. Of the three states in the best financial condition, three are solidly Republican; Utah, Nebraska and Texas. The other two lean Democrat, but only slightly.

The question, then, is why do heavily Democrat states seem to be in the poorest financial condition? According to Forbes, the problems in these Democrat-controlled states revolve around two facts ... stronger unions and more moochers. By more moochers I mean what Forbes refers to as "a stronger appetite for public programs." Stronger appetite for public programs? That means you have more people who are interested in using the government as an instrument of plunder (the moochers) than you have people who are interested in such arcane concepts as self-reliance and hard work.

Example? This from yesterday's Washing times: For the first time since the Great Depression, Americans took more aid from the government last year than they paid in taxes. Now just how long can we sustain this?

Sooner or later we're going to have to recognize that the proliferation of government sector unions and the growth of the moocher class are combining to bring this country to economic ruin. With unions you get less work for more money. With the moocher class you get no work - nothing productive - for vast sums of money. Productive American taxpayers pay the price.

Again (yup, I said this yesterday also), FDR was steadfastly opposed to government-sector unions. He had that right, but where is the politician today that has the nerve to bust these unions; to cut them off at the knees. Look at Greece, where the economy is in ruins. Perhaps it's important to know that over 50 percent of people with jobs in Greece work for the government, and most of them are represented by unions. Right now the unions are marching through the streets offering up threats and rhetoric as solutions to Greece's problems. Could that scene be repeated here?

Union Boss Appointed To Obama's Deficit Panel Loves Wealth Redistribution, Global Government - Say Anything Blog

Sure. Why not. We’ve already got a pay czar working for the Obama administration. Why not a deficit reduction czar who wants wealth distribution and centralized international government?
