Obama/Democrats seek to bankrupt nation, Seek to tax us to death, Obamacare Disaster Details, Liberal Media Spin on Obamacare, more folks wake up and know Obama sucks, $5000 Census fine

I love NCAA basketball tournament time, it helps that my team is clearly the best team in the field… well I hope nothing derails that wishful thinking. Lots of parity in college basketball brings lots of surprises. So far I’ve only missed 3 games in my workplace bracket challenge so I look to continue my basketball prognostication brilliance over the weekend.

You folks have a great weekend and be sure to live well.

Some stuff for you to read… after you read, turn off your computer, no news until Monday. Don’t let the stress of Democrat incompetence ruin your weekend.

Obamacare's Worst Tax Hike - National Center for Policy Analysis

President Obama's 11th-hour decision to apply the 2.9 percent Medicare payroll tax to "unearned income" -- that's what savings and investment income are called in Washington -- wasn't in either the House or Senate bills, though it may now become law with almost no scrutiny, says the Wall Street Journal.

For the first time, the combined employer-worker 2.9 percent Medicare rate would be extended beyond wages to interest, dividends, capital gains, annuities, royalties and rents for individuals with adjusted gross income above $200,000 and joint filers over $250,000, says the Journal:

That would lift the top capital gains rate to 22.9 percent, as the regular rate bounces back to 20 percent from 15 percent when the Bush tax cuts expire at the end of this year.

The top rate for dividends would rise to 42.5 percent when the Bush income tax rates expire.

The White House plan also raises the ordinary Medicare payroll tax by 0.9 percentage points for the same filers, bringing it to 3.8 percent.
Preliminary estimates from the Joint Committee on Taxation peg the revenue from these changes at $183.6 billion over 10 years.

The Tax Policy Center of the Urban Institute and Brookings Institution estimates that 86 percent of the revenue from the investment tax would come from people making more than $624,000, or about 1.2 million taxpayers.

This has led many liberals to claim that it won't matter to investors or harm the economy. Yet these static analyses ignore the incentive effects forecast by the Institute for Research on the Economics of Taxation, says the Journal:

Stephen Entin and colleagues estimates that the investment tax would depress GDP by about 1.3 percent and reduce capital formation by 3.4 percent, and thus reduce the after-tax incomes of everyone not paying the tax directly in the neighborhood of 1.1 percent to 1.2 percent.

Labor productivity and wages would fall across the board, while the lost government revenues from the more-sluggish economy would offset the expected receipts.
Earning even a single dollar more than $200,000 in adjusted gross income will slap the 2.9 percent tax on every dollar of a taxpayer's investment income, creating a huge marginal rate spike that will most hurt middle-class earners, as opposed to the super rich, says the Journal.

Cheerleaders for ObamaCare: A Year of Slanted Media Coverage

As the Media Research Center's latest Media Reality Check details, over the past year, the media have served as cheerleaders for ObamaCare, praising the proposed legislation, while continually slamming its critics.

As Congress moves closer to a final vote on the bill in the coming days, it's a good time to take a look back at the friendly spin that has dominated the airwaves in support of it, as well as the harsh attacks that have been launched against its opponents.

Here is a video compilation with just a sampling of some of the slanted coverage from the past 12 months.

Why You Should Oppose Obamacare: 32 Quotes From Democrats - Right Wing News
The problems with health care reform are legion. It'll raise premiums, unconstitutionally force people to buy health care, cause the deficit to skyrocket, slash Medicare spending to create a new entitlement, lead to rationing, cause a significant number of doctors to quit or retire early, and destroy the quality of care in America.

The process has also been illegitimate. We have a bill that represents a takeover of 1/6 of the US economy, but there are no Republican votes on board and Democrats are using arcane procedural tricks, reconciliation in the Senate and the Slaughter rule in the House, to pass a bill the American people have clearly said that they don't want.

Of course, I can point those things out all day long, but it doesn't matter to Democrats because I'm a conservative. Ideology trumps truth with them. So, I decided to put together a series of quotes from Democrats. If Dems won't believe me about how bad this bill is, how crooked the process is, the lies that were told to promote it, how it funds abortion, and how much hypocrisy and broken promises were involved in getting to this point, maybe they'll believe other Democrats.

The (Healthcare) bill that’s coming through the House, with or without the public option, isn’t good for America. -- Rep. John Adler (D-NJ)

There's a lot of discomfort with the reconciliation process, the self-implementing rule, where you wouldn't have a formal vote on maybe the most important policy of the past 40 years. I have a big issue with the way they're doing the process. I think it's wrong and my constituents don't like it. -- Jason Altmire

Reconciliation would hurt healthcare reform, it would make it partisan, it would hurt, it would stymie it, it would make it very partisan. -- Max Baucus (D-MT)

There’s going to be a tendency on the part of our people to be in denial about all this, but if you lose Massachusetts and that’s not a wake-up call, there’s no hope of waking up. -- Evan Bayh

You know we’re going to control the insurance companies. -- Joe Biden

Right-Wing Racist Hangs Obama Effigy in a Classroom..
No, Wait, It Was a Teacher Pissed Obama Didn't Back His Union...
- Weasel Zippers

If this was anyone other than a union member Charles Johnson (and the rest of the race-obsessed liberal bloggers) would be pinning this on conservatives...

CENTRAL FALLS, R.I. – A teacher at a failing school where he and all his colleagues are being fired hung an effigy of President Barack Obama in his classroom, apparently in reaction to Obama's support of extreme measures to ensure accountability in schools.

The effigy was found in the teacher's classroom by Superintendent Frances Gallo, Rhode Island Department of Education spokeswoman Nicole Shaffer told The Associated Press. Shaffer said the department would not have any further comment.

Gallo told the AP on Thursday evening that the foot-tall Obama doll that she saw Monday was hung from its feet from a white board and was holding a sign that said, "Fire Central Falls teachers."

The president of the Central Falls Teachers Union, Jane Sessums, said in a written statement that the teacher, whose name wasn't disclosed, hung the doll "as part of what he described as a lesson plan."

The union has been fighting the firings at Central Falls High School, one of the state's worst-performing schools.

Oh My: 43% Now "Strongly Disapprove" of Obama, Same as Bush When He Left Office...

You know when I see headlines like this I find it more than a little amusing. I’m just thinking about all the mutherfuckers who for years made jokes about Bush, about how stupid he was and how he was a “moron” and how he was a “warmonger” and how he did not care about black folks or any other minority, big business man, big oil hustler yada yada yada…

Parades of idiot comedians to get a cheap laughs would make some silly ass joke about Bush, intellectually vacant lemmings would parrot the latest anti-Bush talking point or silly liberal spin that they heard on the evening news or one of their idiot liberal friends.
Al the damn time people without a clue would mimic the latest Republicans are evil, Republicans are all rich, Republicans are all about whitey and big business. Idiot Negros before the elections could not wait for a black president to take over to ensure their gas bills were paid; they would get free houses and gubment cheese. Negro children would magically get educated and Niggas would magically be eradicated from jails and the Martin Luther King Boulevards of America would magically become safe passage for all citizens.
Clueless young white people… and a lot of clueless old white people would buy into the notion that Obama’s charming smile would just make everything all better.
peace and harmony would smoothly glide down the collective throats of the masses… well much like a refreshing Coke… yes…ah I am reminded again of the old Coke commercial… I’ve posted before but hey I’m in a joyful mood… lets revisit shall we….

Obamacare Grants IRS Perilous Power, GOP Says - Newsmax

By: David A. Patten

The Internal Revenue Service would gain sweeping new powers under President Obama's healthcare reform proposals, in what Republicans on the House Ways and Means Committee are calling a "dangerous expansion" of IRS powers.

That's according to a nine-page Republican report from the Committee on Ways and Means on Thursday. It's titled "The Wrong Prescription" Democrats' Health Overhaul Dangerously Expands IRS Authority."

Among the new powers the IRS would assume, the report says: The authority to confiscate tax refunds, to impose fines of over $2,200 per taxpayer, and to verify whether taxpayers' health insurance coverage is "acceptable."

One measure of the scope of the IRS' new responsibilities under the healthcare overhaul: The agency might have to hire as many as 16,500 additional auditors, agents, and other employees in order to administer the program, according to Rep. Dave Camp, R-Mich., the ranking Republican on the Ways and Means Committee.

"It is a very dangerous expansion of the IRS' power and reach into the lives of virtually every American," Camp said in a statement released Thursday afternoon.

The Ways and Means report portrays healthcare reform as having a wide-ranging impact on how the IRS operates, including:
IRS agents would be tasked with determining whether Americans had obtained the insurance coverage required under the individual mandate.

Individuals could be fined $2,250 or 2 percent of income, whichever is greater, if you are unable to prove you have "minimum essential coverage."

The IRS would be empowered to confiscate tax refunds if necessary.
Audits probably would increase as a result of the legislation's new requirements.

The budget for IRS operations will balloon by $10 billion in the next decade in order to administrate the new program.

Nearly half of the new individual mandate taxes will be paid "by Americans earning less than 300 percent of poverty, $66150 for a family of four.
A statement that Democrats are sure to dispute, the report, which Camp and fellow GOP Rep. Charles Boustany of Louisiana prepared, says healthcare reform would "fundamentally alter the relationship between the IRS and taxpayers."

Essentially, the Republicans state, the reform bill makes the IRS responsible for "tracking the monthly health insurance status of roughly 300 million Americans."

They express the concern that reform would alter the IRS' traditional mission of collecting revenue, and adding a social-program delivery function to its portfolio.

"This is an unprecedented new role for the IRS — one that will inject the IRS even further into the lives of American families," the report warns.

Ironically, two groups of residents would be declared exempt from IRS enforcement measures, according to the Republicans: One is illegal immigrants who aren't supposed to be included in the insurance exchanges in the first place. The other consists of people who are incarcerated.

'Fixing' Magic Negro Care (Obamacare) - Neal Bortz

So .. the deal is that the House passes the Senate bill this weekend, Obama signs it, and then the House and Senate get together and create another bill that fixes the one they just passed. Got that? Well, this whole idea of "fixing" Obamacare is nonsense. As this article in National Review points out:

Most of the things House Democrats would like to "fix" about the Senate health-care bill involve spending more and taxing less. They want to "fix" the Cornhusker Kickback by giving every state the same sweet deal (full federal funding for the bill's Medicaid extensions). They want to "fix" the Medicare prescription-drug benefit by making it more generous. They want to "fix" the Cadillac tax on high-cost health benefits, a tax the unions hate, by delaying its implementation until 2018.

All of these fixes increase the bill's cost, but under the rules of reconciliation, the package must reduce the deficit by at least $1 billion. Clearly that's not going to happen, so Pelosi's plan involves attaching a separate student-loan bill to the reconciliation package and using the "savings" from that bill to fund the health-care cost overrun.
Don't you love it? This is the "process" that Obama insists nobody really cares all that much about. It's a gimmick, folks. If you don't believe that Obamacare will end up costing MORE, despite this student loan "fix" ...well .. let's just say that there's probably a government high school diploma somewhere in a box in your home.

A Bit More About Deficit Reduction

You do realize that immediately upon passage of this vampire legislation the higher taxes will take effect. Among other taxes, we will see an increase in Social Security taxes, Medicare taxes and taxes for the long-term home care program (The CLASS Act) buried in ObamaCare. Now here's an interesting thing about those taxes. The law demands that all of these taxes - sometimes called "premiums" - be put aside and saved for the payment of Social Security, Medicare and CLASS benefits. Well, that's not going to happen. What WILL happen is that the Democrats will spend these funds ... every penny. They'll spend it on ObamaCare. This way they keep the cost of ObamaCare down ... with BORROWED money. They have to replace the money they're taking from these trust funds at some point down the road ... and this means they're adding to our debt. So if you think that borrowing even more money is a legitimate way to keep our annual deficit down ... well then, let's just say I hope you don't handle your household finances that way. Then again, if you voted for The Community Organizer, you may well do just that.
Are you Democrats paying attention or will you continue to go… la la la la la la… I hear nothing… not gonna pay attention…

Explaining the Madness and Insanity of Obama and Congress - RedState | by Cat Corben

Ironically, Americans are known as freedom fighters, coming to the aid and rescue of many countries, freeing and securing them from tyranny. Presently, Americans find themselves fighting for their own freedom from tyranny under Obama, Pelosi, Reid and the rest of the Democrat-led Congress. The American people have been consistent and clear in their will: kill the ObamaCare bill.

We all agree that the Democrats are committing political suicide and a mauling is going to take place in November with the GOP gaining a significant number of seats in Congress–maybe even the long shot of a 2/3 majority to override any presidential vetoes and even impeach Obama and members of Congress. Goals, indeed.

Americans keep asking what is going on in this country because they just cannot grasp the tyranny the country is experiencing. Clearly, there is an underlying plan that is being [en]forced, against our will, because Obama knows this is be the last time in possibly a generation the progressive Democrats will have the power to execute the fall of America into a socialistic state–their ultimate goal. Maybe this is what Obama explained to Rep. Dennis Kucinich in private on Air Force One to cause him to switch his vote from no to yes.

There can be no other explanation for the Democrats’ irrational behavior other than the reality that they are one House vote from fulfilling the decades-long, gradual implementation of Fabian Socialism in America and total control over the American people through taxation and their health care.

Walgreens will stop taking new Medicaid patients in Washington state as of April 16.

Obama helped fund 'Alinsky Academy'- WND
Teaches tactics of direct action, confrontation and intimidation

A Chicago nonprofit on which President Obama served as paid director provided startup capital and later funding to Midwest Academy, an activist organization described as teaching tactics of direct action, confrontation and intimidation, WND has learned.

Also, in 1998, Obama participated on a panel discussion alongside Midwest Academy founder Heather Booth, an extremist organizer and dedicated disciple of radical community organizer Saul Alinsky.

The Woods Fund, a nonprofit on which Obama served as paid director from 1999 to December 2002, provided startup funding and later capital to the Midwest Academy. WND first reported Obama sat on the Woods Fund board alongside William Ayers, founder of the Weather Underground domestic terrorist organization.

Midwest was co-founded by Booth's husband, Paul Booth, a founder and the former national secretary of Students for a Democratic Society, the radical 1960s anti-war movement from which Ayers' Weathermen splintered.

In 1999, Booth's Midwest Academy received $75,000 from the Woods Fund. In 2002, with Obama still serving on the Woods Fund, Midwest received another $23,500 for its Young Organizers Development Program.

Midwest describes itself as "one of the nation's oldest and best-known schools for community organizations, citizen organizations and individuals committed to progressive social change."

U.S. congressman slams 'Big Brother' questions

How many people live in your home? Are any of them Hispanic? Are the people who live in your home citizens? How big is your home? Do you have difficulty making decisions or climbing stairs? How much do you pay for your sewage system? Are you married? What's your rent or mortgage payment? Do you own an automobile? Are you on food stamps? How much money do you make?

These are just a sample of the highly detailed and personal questions asked in the mandatory American Community Survey the U.S. Census Bureau will send to a sample of some 3 million U.S. households in addition to the 2010 Census.

Refusing to answer the questions or answering them incorrectly will subject citizens to hefty fines.

The U.S. Census website for the American Community Survey warns that under Title 13 of the U.S. Code, Section 221, anyone who refuses to answer the 11-page 48-question survey, or who answers the questions with false information, will be subject to a possible $5,000 fine.

Hey Obama, conjugate this

My Social Welfare is not your Concern.
His Social Welfare is not your Concern.
Her Social Welfare is not your Concern.
Their Social Welfare is not your Concern.
Our Social Welfare is not your Concern.

My Social Welfare is my Concern.
His Social Welfare is not my Concern.
Her Social Welfare is not my Concern.
Their Social Welfare is not my Concern.
Your Social Welfare is not my Concern.

more extensively

I should pay for my Social Welfare.

I should not pay for his Social Welfare.
I should not pay for her Social Welfare.
I should not pay for their Social Welfare.
I should not pay for your Social Welfare.
I should not pay for our Social Welfare.

He should not pay for my Social Welfare.
She should not pay for my Social Welfare.
You should not pay for my Social Welfare.
They should not pay for my Social Welfare.
We should not pay for my Social Welfare.

Other sentences may occur to you. Like, The IRS should not make you pay for his Social Welfare. Or, You should not go to jail because you do not pay for their Social Welfare.

Go ahead, try it. It's liberating and maybe even fun.

It also does clarify what these stinking Democrats are really saying. Like, Your children's children will be paying for my Social Welfare schemes until the end of time. Or, The IRS will steal from your bank account what the IRS decides is enough to pay for their Social Welfare. And, Here is your electronic medical records f;ash card, take it to the Doctor in cubicle number four. And don't worry, if you don't like him, you're likely never to see that same Doctor again.

Until finally, Your Social Welfare is no longer our concern. Here is you Blue Pill
