Another Democrat Screw Up, Liberal Lies, Overtaxed New Jersey, Obama/Kenya, Cap & Trade crap, Nanny State, Blacks Disappearing From Baseball, Sick Bastards!

Another screw-up heard from: DemCare Bill forgot to include a religious exemption clause - Doug Ross

The bill contains another surprise: the "religious exemption" that allows individuals to conscientiously object to joining DemCare was screwed up as the bill is written. Based upon the letter of the law as it was written and passed, there is no religious exemption.

(A) RELIGIOUS CONSCIENCE EXEMPTION- Such term shall not include any individual for any month if such individual has in effect an exemption under section 1311(d)(4)(H) of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act which certifies that such individual is a member of a recognized religious sect or division thereof described in section 1402(g)(1) and an adherent of established tenets or teachings of such sect or division as described in such section.

An Age of Untruth - Five Lies We Live With - Pajamas Media
Can’t We All Just Get Along?

Make no mistake about it, this is a dishonest age. That our daily lies are purportedly advanced in the cause of the common good, nevertheless do not make them any less lies.

Beware of sudden and apparently reasonable “calls for civility.” That pathetic mantra is usually voiced by a liberal administration and its supporters when criticism mounts that they are taking the country too far to the Left — like the Clinton implosion in 1993 or Obama today. I fear “civility” does not mean one should not write novels or produce movies contemplating murdering George Bush — that’s sort of an understandable agitprop art. “Civility” does not mean the New York Times should not give discounts to run ads in wartime like “General Betray Us.” That’s needed dissidence. Civility does not suggest that a Sen. Durbin, or Sen. Kerry, or Sen. Kennedy not use inflammatory language that compares our own troops or personnel to terrorists, Nazis, Pol Pot, Stalinists, or Saddam Hussein’s torturers; that most certainly in not uncivil. And it was certainly not impolite for Rep. Stark to call President Bush a “liar.”

“Civility” does not mean that we should not spew hate at anti-war protests; that’s grass-roots popular protest. It doesn’t mean that like John Glenn or Al Gore or Robert Byrd we should not employ Nazi and fascistic labels to tar the President of the United States. “Civility” does not mean that a shrill Hillary Clinton should not scream that the Bush administration is trying to silence critics, or suggest that the commanding general of an entire theater was lying to Congress in ways that require a “suspension of disbelief.” That’s needed pushback.

O Ye of Little Memory! Do we recall any American shock when the Guardian published Charles Booker’s lament — “John Wilkes Booth, Lee Harvey Oswald, John Hinckley Jr. — where are you now that we need you?” And I don’t recall anyone felt that language was getting too heated when Howard Dean, head of the Democratic Party, fumed, “I hate the Republicans and everything they stand for.” And was it not The New Republic that highlighted Jonathan Chait’s infamous “Why I Hate George W. Bush” article? Of course, there was that thoroughly civil New York play, “I’m Gonna Kill the President.”

So, please, spare us the sanctimonious rot about being shocked by conservative metaphors like “lock and load” or “targeting” vulnerable Democratic districts. Like it or not, “civility” has nothing to do with real civility that is bipartisan in fashion and necessary for tolerance in a politically diverse culture. It simply means that conservatives must be stopped in their Neanderthal opposition to an enlightened agenda by any means necessary—by being uncivil to them when conservatives are in power, and demanding they not do the same when liberals run things. All political parties wish it both ways; but in the present age, the media and a cultural elite really have convinced themselves that speaking out against Barack Obama is a sort of heresy while smearing the Bush “regime” was de rigueur.

Lindsey Graham Ready To Ram Cap-&Trade Tax Through Senate - First Things

In February top global warming expert Professor Phil Jones, the former director of the University of East Anglia’s Climatic Research Unit (CRU), admitted that global warming was a fraud. He admitted:
* Data for vital ‘hockey stick graph’ had gone missing

* There had been no global warming since 1995

* Warming periods have happened before – but NOT due to man-made changes

* There was a tendency in the IPCC reports to leave out inconvenient findings, especially in the parts most likely to be read by policy makers.
Jones also admitted that there had been no significant global warming in the last 15 years. Despite these facts, CPU fraudsters bilked the EU and US for £800,000 ($1,253,624.84) annually for the last 20 years.

Lindsey Graham will push the biggest tax on the American public in the nation’s history. Graham, along with fellow progressives John Kerry and Joe Lieberman, are going to push their cap and trade bill in the US Senate. The bill will cause electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket and will bankrupt the coal industry. The state-run media is already pushing the junk science in anticipation of the upcoming debate in the senate.

‘If you tax them, they will leave’ - Weekly Standard

Chris Christie seeks to mend the broke and broken state of New Jersey.
Trenton

If the citizens of New Jersey like candor, Chris Christie is the governor they’ve been waiting for. Or I should say citizens of “the failed state” of New Jersey, as he tends to call it. It’s a “broken state” and a state that’s “broke.” New Jersey was in “a shambles,” he says, when he became governor in January. It’s “a fiscal basket case,” suffering from the “madness” of tax increases and excessive government spending, a “wonderful state” that’s been brought to “the edge of bankruptcy” and faces “the ruination” of its economy and “the quality of life that we want all of our citizens to have.” New Jersey has “deceitful politics,” and “the defenders of the status quo .  .  . yell and scream” and “demonize” those, like Christie, who seek change.

The state’s misery is quantifiable, and Christie routinely quantifies it in his speeches. His budget address in March to a joint session of the state legislature—controlled by Democrats—included this riff:

New Jersey residents are the most over-taxed in the country. We have one of the highest top marginal in-come tax rates, the second highest sales tax rate, the sixth highest corporate tax rate, and the highest property taxes in the nation. Add it all up, and the sad fact is that we are number one with more state and local taxes taken as a percentage of income than any other state in America. This is one distinction I am prepared to give up.

Tancredo urges Tea Partiers to send Obama back to Kenya

Former Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-Colo.) urged Tea Partiers this weekend to help "send [Obama] back" to Kenya.

Speaking at a rally in Greenville, S.C., on Saturday, Tancredo cited remarks Michelle Obama made earlier this month in which she called Kenya was the president's "home country."

"If his wife says Kenya is his homeland, why don't we just send him back?" Tancredo said, according to the Greenville News.

Asked about Tancredo's comments, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs dismissed them as "lunacy."

"I could probably fill the better part of my afternoons responding to the lunacy of people such as Tom Tancredo," Gibbs said.

Eligibility challenger to go public today - WND

The officer refusing Army orders until Barack Obama documents his eligibility to be president and commander in chief is hitting the airwaves today to answer questions about his challenge to the president.

Lt. Col. Terry Lakin is scheduled to be on the G. Gordon Liddy show Tuesday from 10-11 a.m. EDT.

He is scheduled to be joined at 10:30 a.m. by Joseph Farah, founder and CEO of WorldNetDaily, which has reported extensively since before the 2008 election on questions being raised over Obama's eligibility to occupy the Oval Office.

The Constitution, Article 2, Section 1, states, "No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President."

Some of the various challenges and lawsuits that have developed about Obama allege that he was not born in Hawaii in 1961 as he has written, or that the framers of the Constitution specifically excluded dual citizens – Obama's father was a subject of the British crown at Obama's birth – from being eligible for the office.

Nanny State To Regulate Your Salt Intake - Stop the ACLU

Aren’t you thrilled that the Government is just looking out for your best interests, since you are obviously to incompetent to make your own decisions? FDA takes aim at salt content in processed food

The Food and Drug Administration is planning an unprecedented effort to gradually reduce the salt consumed each day by Americans, saying that less sodium in everything from soup to nuts would prevent thousands of deaths from hypertension and heart disease. The initiative, to be launched this year, would eventually lead to the first legal limits on the amount of salt allowed in food products.

The government intends to work with the food industry and health experts to reduce sodium gradually over a period of years to adjust the American palate to a less salty diet, according to FDA sources, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the initiative had not been formally announced.
At least they haven’t taken the New York City route, and straight up banned the use of salt in restaurants.

Giants notebook: Lewis trade leaves Giants without African-American - Mercury News

LOS ANGELES — The Giants and Dodgers wore No.42 on the backs of their jerseys Friday night to commemorate Jackie Robinson's breaking of baseball's color barrier.

But notably, the Giants do not have an African-American player on their active roster. And after trading Fred Lewis to the Toronto Blue Jays on Thursday, the organization has just one player of African-American heritage — injured infielder Emmanuel Burriss — on its 40-man roster.

While the waning number of African-Americans in the major leagues is a subject that merits attention, the Giants' lack of representation looks to be more about quirky timing.

Until recently, the club had Lewis, Randy Winn, Ray Durham and Barry Bonds as roster mainstays. In the Giants' minor league system, African-Americans such as Thomas Neal and Darren Ford rank among their top prospects. The club also used a first-round draft selection in 2007 on Wendell Fairley, a high school outfielder from Mississippi, and gave him a $1 million signing bonus.

Ok this story is of some interest to me because I’m from the Bay Area and a long time fan of the Giants, A’s, 49ers (screw the Raiders, never forgave them when they left Oakland the first time).
Question if you are a fan of a team do you care about the folks in the uniform or the individual players or the city they represent?
Going back to when I was a kid there were not very many black baseball players most of my friends (black friends) wanted to play football or basketball.
Latin players have taken over the game while fewer and fewer playgrounds will showcase black talent when it comes to baseball. It’s unfortunate in many ways because I love baseball and it is a shame that young black kids will never get to experience the joy of the game.

Congrats to the “Chocolate City.” Your back on top (of the list of most violent cities in the world).

New Orleans is one of several mini-South Africas located inside the United States. After Katrina, this majority black city re-elected Nagin, arguably the most incompetent mayor in the US, because he promised to keep the city majority black. Or as he called it, a “chocolate city.”

CNN published a list of the “most dangerous cities in the world.” The list comes from Forbes magazine.

There is no way to make a completely accurate list. Many of the most violent countries don’t even keep track of murders. CNN does list Cape Town, South Africa using an estimated murder rate from international groups.CNN also list Kinshasa, the capitol of the Democratic Republic of the Congo based on data from international groups.

However, many other black run nations like Haiti, Zimbabwe, Senegal, ect are a question mark. The governments don’t keep track of murders and routinely lie about it anyway.

CNN lists two US cities.

Detroit

New Orleans

Three of the cities listed could arguably be described as being in a state of Civil War:

Karachi, Beirut, and Baghdad.

Dubious inclusion of Moscow.

At least one city listed appears to be complete propaganda. Moscow is placed on the list and next to it says “most dangerous city in Europe.” Moscow experienced a wave of violent crime after the fall of the Soviet Union. Much of if was from battles between organized crime syndicates and directly related to the fall of the Soviet Union. Since then crime has been steadily decreasing in Moscow. The placement of Moscow on the list appears politically motivated. They simply wanted at least one majority white city on the list. It is extremely unlikely that Moscow is among the ten most dangerous cities sin the world.

The murder rate in Moscow peaked at 18 per 100k in the 90’s. Extremely high for Europe, but nowhere close to majority black cities in the US, or scores of violent cities in South America or Africa. Moscow had a murder rate of 9.6 per 100l last year. Compare this to between 67 (NOPD figure) to 95 (FBI figure) for New Orleans. The official murder rate for Detroit in 47.6 per 100k.

Despite the election of Barack Obama and the coldest winter in 30 years. The black murder rate in the US has exploded so so far in 2010. St. Louis, Chicago, New York, and New Orleans all report increases in their murder rate for 2010 so far.

If you are a Negro and if you are a Democrat ask yourself, why is it that every major American city run by a Negro is ridiculously crime infested?
I thought Democrats were there to assist a brotha or a sista and make things safe.
Niggas sure as hell know how to screw shit up and as long as ignorant ass Negros keep pimping for Democrats and electing crackheads to run these cities and electing numbskulls to represent them they will continue to be seated in the back of the societal yellow bus. If you are a Negro and a Democrat is being ignorant and stupid a virtue? Just askin!

Felon accused of running animal-sex farm

SEATTLE - A Whatcom County, Wash., man's friendship and aggressive support for a man convicted in the infamous Enumclaw horse-sex case led to his arrest this week for allegedly operating a bestiality farm just south of the Canadian border, federal prosecutors said Friday.

Douglas Spink, 39, a one-time dot-com millionaire, convicted drug smuggler and horse trainer, was quietly living on a rural property just south of Sumas when he connected with James Tait, who was in a Tennessee jail on a bestiality charge. Tait had earlier been convicted of trespassing in 2005 in the Enumclaw case, in which a Gig Harbor man died after having sex with a horse.

The two men's communications set in motion an investigation that resulted in Spink's arrest Wednesday at the Sumas farm for suspicion of violating his federal probation for drug smuggling. Federal prosecutors and Whatcom County sheriff's officials say Spink also allowed people to come to the farm and have sex with animals.

"They were promoting tourism of this nature for bestiality," Whatcom County Sheriff Bill Elfo said Friday.

When county deputies and federal investigators searched the property they found videotapes that included images of a man, who was visiting the property, having sex with several large-breed dogs.

The man, a 51-year-old British national, was arrested for investigation of four counts of bestiality, Elfo said. He is being held in the Whatcom County Jail in lieu of $150,000, Elfo said.

On Wednesday, authorities took several animals, including horses and large-breed dogs, found on Spink's property into protective custody, Elfo said. Several mice were euthanized, Elfo added.

"At this point we don't know how many people visited this location or how many engaged in illegal conduct," the sheriff said. "We'll see as the federal investigation unfolds."

The property, Exitpoint Stallions, is reportedly owned by Spink's mother.

Spink appeared Friday in U.S. District Court in Seattle, where he was ordered held until an April 30 detention hearing.

"These are just allegations," Spink's attorney, Howard Phillips, said following the hearing. "My client said he has not been engaging in bestiality at all."
