Some devastating polls for Democrats - Washington Examiner

Back in 1994, I wrote a column for U.S. News arguing that Republicans had a serious chance to capture a majority of seats in the House of Representatives. The article appeared on the newsstands on July 11, and was the first article I’m aware of that suggested that Democrats might lose the majority they had held for 40 years. My argument was based on a number of polls showing Democratic incumbents trailing Republican challengers. Usually House incumbents don’t trail challengers in polls at any point in the campaign, because they almost always start off better known. For an incumbent to trail in a poll is a sign of serious danger.

Bill O’Reilly Tells Black Professor That He Looks Like A Drug Dealer

Click on link to watch video... I don’t give a shit about Bill, dude is a buffoon. Dude needs to go back to hosting tabloid type shows. His ratings are still high which is frankly baffling to me because above all else he lacks substance, much of what he discusses on his show he knows little or nothing about the issue. Anywho I found the following quote below from Rush and he nails it:

In a new biography on sale Tuesday, Rush Limbaugh calls fellow conservative talk show host Bill O’Reilly a “Ted Baxter” — after the fictional character on the “The Mary Tyler Moore Show” who was portrayed as a vain, shallow, buffoonish TV newsman.

“Sorry but somebody’s gotta say it,” Limbaugh is quoted as saying in Rush Limbaugh: An Army of One by Zev Chafets.

GOP Moves to Repeal Obamacare - First Things

Nearly two-thirds of Americans want Obamacare repealed. Democrats rammed their nationalized health care bill down America’s throat in March.
Republicans on Thursday introduced a bill to repeal it.
Obamacare Taking on Water - Weekly Standard

As they followed one another off the political cliff in voting for the health-care overhaul, Democratic senators and representatives comforted themselves with their own self-created myth that, although ObamaCare was horribly unpopular as a bill, it would prove to be quite fetching as a law. Furthermore, this transformation, this change they could believe in, would take place sooner rather than later — as voters would reward rather than punish them for passing ObamaCare in clear and open defiance of popular will.
ObamaCare: Death Panels Are a Real Concern After All - Big Government

It was an article of faith among Obamacare supporters that worry over so-called death panels was simply a cynical ploy by conservative leaders to scare the peasants. Blatant fearmongering, they claimed. Now it’s looking more and more like a valid concern. Writing at the Daily Caller, Michael Tanner of the Cato Institute highlights quotes from Dr. Donald Berwick, President Obama’s nominee to be director of the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services, which suggest that death panels might be on his wish-list.
Pay attention here people…

Soros-funded group urges more government control of media

NEW YORK – The policy director at a George Soros-funded, Marxist-founded organization calling itself Free Press has just taken a key State Department position, WND has learned.

Free Press Policy Director Ben Scott has been named a policy adviser for innovation at the State Department.

"We will miss Ben's leadership, wise counsel, and strategic brilliance – for Free Press and the overall movement for media and technology policy in the public interest," said Free Press President Josh Silver.

Free Press is a well-known advocate of government intervention in the Internet.

Could California Gay Bar Be Required to Serve Man Wearing “I Hate Fags” T-shirt? - Gay Patriot

Telling his readers how much he hates “California Nazis“, Glenn Reynolds linked David Bernstein’s piece at Volokh on a troubling case coming from the (once-)Golden State on the abuse of the public accommodation provision of Civil Right laws.

The management asked them to take off the lapel pins. They refused. The management asked them to leave. They refused. The management called the police, who arrested them.

STEYN: Beleaguered taxpayers may finally put a stop to the sheer waste of government spending

Back in 2008, when I was fulminating against multiculturalism on a more or less weekly basis, a reader wrote to advise me to lighten up, on the grounds that "we're rich enough to afford to be stupid."

Two years later, we're a lot less rich. In fact, many Western nations are, in any objective sense, insolvent. Hence last week's column, on the EU's decision to toss a trillion dollars into the great sucking maw of Greece's public-sector kleptocracy. It no longer matters whether you're intellectually in favour of European-style social democracy: simply as a practical matter, it's unaffordable.

Palin: “Passing the buck doesn’t plug the d#*! hole” - Hot Air

Now that the American people are calling him out on his lack of engagement with this disaster, the buck-passing is in full swing – and, unbelievably, his administration is still looking to blame his predecessor. Amazingly, even those of us who support energy independence for America are the brunt of some buck-passing.

Shocker: College Grads Not Ready For Workplace - Stop the ACLU

This is what the ever increasing amount of leftist/progressive indoctrination in schools, particularly public schools, has wrought for the X generation

A few weeks before graduation, dozens of York College undergrads, in shorts and flip flops, packed a campus auditorium.

They’ve come to see Laura Wand, the director of marketing for Johnson Controls, one of York’s biggest employers.

“Dude, dress up. This isn’t the mall,” she tells the crowd.

Folks I can tell you I see this first hand. With the exception of many of the students who intern where I work (we tend to attract the best and the brightest) most of the college students I come across are a bunch of idiots. You see them in shorts and flip flops and the girls in seriously revealing clothing, most are spoiled, clueless all with ears glued to cell phones or I-Pods. Many of these kids have no manners, little or no common sense, hell I had an open position for an assistant and interviewed 40 kids for the position, I gave up because most were just too stupid, many did not even know how to fill out a fucken job application.
Unfortunately parents have raised a generation of clueless worthless morons. I can’t even begin to imagine what this country is going to look like in a decade or so. Remember I’m talking about and this post is talking about the college educated youth. Never mind the ones who are dropping out of school, who are becoming chronically unemployed breeding and thereby becoming future dependents of the government… more guaranteed votes for Democrats.
