Obama Down 15 in Tracking Poll, Democrats Start To Panic, Obama's Anti-Business Policies Are Our Economic Katrina, An Ugly Preview of ObamaCare, The 'Most' Racial President, NAACP Racist Video

I am experiencing some massive migraine headaches and I can’t look at my computer long enough to read anything. Going to be a long day.

Daily Presidential Tracking Poll - Monday, July 19, 2010 (Obama at -15) -Rasmussen Reports

Halperin: Dems Start to Panic as Reality Sets In - Time

Under pressure, the Democrats are cracking. On both ends of Pennsylvania Avenue, there is a realization that Nancy Pelosi's hold on the speakership is in true jeopardy; that losing control of the Senate is not out of the question; and that time, once the Democrats' best friend, is now their mortal enemy. Since January, when Scott Brown won Ted Kennedy's Massachusetts Senate seat, the President's party has tried to downplay in public what its pollsters have been saying in private: that Obama's alienation of independents and white voters, along with the enthusiasm gap between the right and the left, means that Republicans are on a trajectory to pick up massive numbers of House and Senate seats, perhaps even to regain control of Congress.

An Ugly Preview of ObamaCare - Real Clear Politics

By Robert Samuelson

WASHINGTON -- If you want a preview of President Obama's health care "reform," take a look at Massachusetts. In 2006, it enacted a "reform" that became a model for Obama. What's happened since isn't encouraging. The state did the easy part: expanding state-subsidized insurance coverage. It evaded the hard part: controlling costs and ensuring that spending improves people's health. Unfortunately, Obama has done the same.

Like Obama, Massachusetts requires most individuals to have health insurance (the "individual mandate"). To aid middle-class families too well-off to qualify for Medicaid -- government insurance for the poor -- the state subsidizes insurance for people up to three times the federal poverty line (about $66,000 in 2008 for a family of four). Together, the mandate and subsidies have raised insurance coverage from 87.5 percent of the non-elderly population in 2006 to 95.2 percent in the fall of 2009, report Sharon Long and Karen Stockley of the Urban Institute.

Obama, Not the 'Post-' but the 'Most' Racial President - David Limbaugh

While President Obama has touted himself as a post-racial president, he has built a record demonstrating precisely the opposite. Is it Obama's bitterness, or is the incessant playing of the race card by him and many of his supporters merely calculated political exploitation -- or both?

Let's look at a non-exhaustive list of examples since Obama took office.

--Feb. 18, 2009: Obama's attorney general, Eric Holder, accused the nation of being a nation of cowards on race.

--April 2009: NewsBusters reported that at the behest of the National Association of Black Owned Broadcasters, Democratic Federal Communications Commission Commissioner Jonathan Adelstein demanded a government inquiry into how the electronic Portable People Meter (used to measure radio ratings and which experts believe to be a far more reliable measure than the previous system) collects data. Obama's FCC indeed ordered an inquiry in the name of "diversity" because under the modern system, hip-hop ratings had declined and conservative talk ratings had increased.

--May 2009: White House press secretary Robert Gibbs warned critics of Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor to measure their words carefully, implying they were race-based.

--May 2009: The Obama-Holder Justice Department dismissed a case against New Black Panther Party members for voter intimidation, even though it had already won the case. Former Justice lawyer J. Christian Adams said that the NAACP lobbied Obama to have the case dismissed and that the case was dismissed based on the Justice Department's outrageous policy of not prosecuting such cases against blacks when they involve white victims.

Obama's untold story- Guardian UK
Democrats are failing to convince voters that their efforts have made the economy stronger

Finally, the old wheel of fate cut Barack Obama a couple of breaks last week. Within hours of each other on Thursday, BP capped the oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico and the Senate passed the financial regulatory reform bill. The former brought an end to three months of political agony for the White House as Americans watched those daily video feeds of crude oil gushing into the sea. The latter mercifully concluded an even uglier display – that of the Senate spending a year crafting a bill.

These events inspired a round of commentary agreeing that between healthcare and "finreg", Obama was the most consequential Democratic president (in terms of domestic legislation) since Lyndon Johnson in the mid-60s. And yet most of the buzz in the political press over the week involved more chest-thumping about how terrible things were for Obama. A Washington Post poll showing a majority disapproves of his handling of the economy spurred unusually fervent declarations that the Republicans were poised to regain control of the House of Representatives and, for the first time, speculation that now even the Senate might fall too, like overripe fruit, into Republican hands.

CNN Guest Compares Black Tea Party Protesters to Jewish Guards at Nazi Concentration Camps (Video)

A new low for the racist left…
On CNN yesterday guest Luke Visconti, the founder and CEO of DiversityInc, compared black tea party patriots to Jewish guards at the Nazi Concentration Camps.
Sick.
And this guy is a supposed to be an expert on diversity?

The NAACP's Racist - Human Events

by Daniel J. Flynn

Long before the NAACP casually tossed the “racism” smear at the Tea Partiers, the civil-rights organization courageously made the hard decision to rid itself of the racism in its own house. The group did this by kicking out its sole African American founder.

“Absolutely segregate the races,” W.E.B. Du Bois proclaimed in The Crisis, the journal of the NAACP, in 1920. Thirteen years later, he unveiled a plan for American blacks involving “increased segregation and perhaps migration.” Du Bois queerly proclaimed: “I fight Segregation with Segregation.” The NAACP, aghast that the editor of its house organ had supplied fodder for white segregationists, partly engineered and gladly accepted Du Bois’s resignation in 1934.

At first glance, Du Bois’s unwise comments seem at odds with his impressive résumé. He was the first African American to earn a graduate degree from Harvard. His Souls of Black Folks remains a classic of the African American experience. And he was a founder of the NAACP. But for the bulk of his 95-year life, he was a first-class hater.

Liberals Still Acting Stupidly on Race - Human Events

The election of our first black President was supposed to signal a milestone in our nation’s pursuit of a post-racial society. Part of the hope and change millions of voters expected involved racial reconciliation.

Interviewed in the wake of Barack Obama’s victory, Martin Luther King III predicted, “race relations clearly will be advanced…because of President-elect Obama.”
But instead of marking a new beginning in race relations, Obama’s presidency has given new life to the old politics of racial grievance. In fact, ironically, Obama himself has been most responsible for initiating a new era of race-baiting.

Breitbart hits NAACP with promised video of racism - Hot Air

The NAACP is about to learn one of the most basic of all lessons in life — those who live in glass houses should avoid provoking a stone-throwing war. After the civil-rights organization threatened to issue a condemnation of Tea Party activism by equating it with racism (a position from which they ultimately retreated), Andrew Breitbart announced that he would publish at least one video of the NAACP itself cheering racism. Breitbart delivers on that promise today at Big Government, showing USDA official Shirley Sherrod explain to an appreciative NAACP audience in July 2009 how she deliberately withheld information from a white farmer in Georgia trying to save his land and his business:

Jewish guards at Nazi camps? Isn't that kind of like invoking Godwin's Law?

Incidentally, didn't George Soros work with the Nazis to confiscate Jewish property? And didn't he say he enjoyed it immensely? He's one of Obama's supporters, isn't he?
