This is beyond retarded!
President Obama, White House: Al Qaeda Is Racist
In an interview earlier today with the South African Broadcasting Corporation to air in a few hours, President Obama disparaged al Qaeda and affiliated groups' willingness to kill Africans in a manner that White House aides say was an argument that the terrorist groups are racist.

Speaking about the Uganda bombings, the president said, "What you've seen in some of the statements that have been made by these terrorist organizations is that they do not regard African life as valuable in and of itself. They see it as a potential place where you can carry out ideological battles that kill innocents without regard to long-term consequences for their short-term tactical gains."

Earlier today a senior administration official said the Obama administration believes that Al Shabaab carried out the attack.

Explaining the president's comment, an administration official said Mr. Obama "references the fact that both U.S. intelligence and past al Qaeda actions make clear that al Qaeda -- and the groups like al Shabaab that they inspire -- do not value African life. The actions of al Qaeda and the groups that it has inspired show a willingness to sacrifice innocent African life to reach their targets."
Re: Al-Qaeda Is Racist  - [Andy McCarthy]

The race obsession of the Obama administration is a sight to behold. Remember, these are people who adamantly refuse to see the Islamic underpinnings of jihadist terror, although those underpinnings are obvious and undeniable to anyone willing to look. Yet, racism, their unified field theory for interpreting all human phenomena, somehow explains al Qaeda. Sure.
CBS SHOCK POLL: 74% say Arizona illegal immigration law about right, doesn't go far enough
57% of Americans see Arizona’s recent immigration law – which gives police the power to question someone they have already stopped, detained, or arrested about their legal status in the country, and requires people to produce documents verifying their status if asked – as about right, an uptick of five points since May. 23% think the law goes too far, and 17% say it does not go far enough.

Critics slam Harry Reid's immigration remark -Says no illegals working in Nevada!- Politico

Immigration reform critics are seizing on Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid's comments this week that seemed to downplay the number of illegal immigrants working construction jobs in Nevada, even though a recent study found that his home state had the largest percentage of undocumented workers in the country. When a reporter from KLAS-TV in Las Vegas told Reid a 2009 Pew Hispanic Center report found 17 percent of the nation’s construction workers were undocumented, the Nevada Democrat replied: “That may be some place, but it’s not here in Nevada.”
It's Not "Just the Economy, Stupid" This Time - Real Clear Politics

It’s almost certain that the Democrats are heading for a terrible election in the fall – the only real dispute is whether it will be merely a bad election or a truly horrendous one. And so, the pre-mortems have already begun. Republicans are generally arguing that it is all about Obama’s policies, while Democrats argue that, like 1992, it is just the economy, stupid.
WaPo: WH trapped by its own economic rhetoric - Hot Air
That sense of frustration among voters has developed despite what White House officials see as a series of successes in the last year and a half: health care reform, Wall Street reform (perhaps to be passed Thursday), and an economic turnaround that has turned staggering monthly job losses into modest monthly job gains.
Republicans, who are hoping to seize control of Congress, point to unemployment numbers that remain near 10 percent, not the 8 percent that White House officials predicted. And they say the public is fed up with the nation’s soaring debt, which the GOP blames on Obama and the Democrats in Congress.
Either way, West Wing officials like Gibbs are trapped now. The more they talk about their economic and legislative successes, the more danger there is that they seem out of touch with the public’s sense of frustration.

The Bush Tax Cuts and the Deficit Myth - WSJ Online

Runaway government spending, not declining tax revenues, is the reason the U.S. faces dramatic budget shortfalls for years to come.

President Obama and congressional Democrats are blaming their trillion-dollar budget deficits on the Bush tax cuts of 2001 and 2003. Letting these tax cuts expire is their answer. Yet the data flatly contradict this "tax cuts caused the deficits" narrative. Consider the three most persistent myths:

• The Bush tax cuts wiped out last decade's budget surpluses. Sen. John Kerry (D., Mass.), for example, has long blamed the tax cuts for having "taken a $5.6 trillion surplus and turned it into deficits as far as the eye can see." That $5.6 trillion surplus never existed. It was a projection by the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) in January 2001 to cover the next decade. It assumed that late-1990s economic growth and the stock-market bubble (which had already peaked) would continue forever and generate record-high tax revenues. It assumed no recessions, no terrorist attacks, no wars, no natural disasters, and that all discretionary spending would fall to 1930s levels.
The reason that confidence in Barack Obama is waning? He hasn't done a good enough job blaming Bush. Seriously! At least, that is what Newsweek Magazine believes.
Consumer Gloom at Highest Level Since February- Investors Business Daily

Consumer gloom in July reached its highest level since the recession was near the bottom amid fears that the expansion remains too weak to create many jobs, according to the IBD/TIPP Economic Optimism Index out Tuesday.

Meanwhile, a gauge of small-business confidence retreated in June to a level typical of a "weak or recession-mired economy" as the sales outlook deteriorated sharply, the National Federation of Independent Business said Tuesday.

The IBD/TIPP gauge fell 3.2% in early July to 44.7, the lowest since February 2009. Readings below 50 signal pessimism. The six-month outlook sank 3.2 points to 42.8, a 16-month low. It's down 16% since May.

Just Say NO to Ground Zero Mosque - Flopping Aces

Build it somewhere else!

We bend over backwards in America to be tolerant, even to a fault. And while Christians can’t build churches in Saudi Arabia, let alone Mecca, we accept that Moslems may build mosques in the U.S.

But it pushes tolerance too far to accept a huge mosque built at the site of the September 11th attacks at Ground Zero in New York set to open on the 10th anniversary of that atrocity. A monument to Mohammed on the site of these atrocious and cowardly attacks is wrong. Opposition to this mosque need not be about Islamophobia or religious freedom. It’s a simple matter of right and wrong. And this is wrong.

Mosqueing Ground Zero at Warped Speed - Human Events

by Pamela Geller
New York officials are violating protocol to build a mega mosque at Ground Zero. They are ramming it through in warped speed, removing every obstacle to expedite the process in order to meet its stated opening date of September 11, 2011, the tenth anniversary of the terror attacks.

On Tuesday, the Landmarks Commission is expected to deny landmark status for 45 Park Place, the site for the proposed mosque.

Why the hurry? So that the mosque can open on the tenth anniversary of September 11, as promised? Would they do this for a church? A synagogue? This is an outrage.
Obama Cleanses the Terrorism Glossary - Human Events

President Obama and his cast of aides will lash out at Republicans, the Tea Party, banks, oil companies and Arizona. But when it comes to radical Islam, Obama-ites treat it with kid gloves or ignore it altogether.

Recent speeches show that—rather than identifying the enemy for what it is, bands of Islamic extremists who use their religion to justify murder—the administration searches for the root cause of terrorism, a "why do they hate us?" obsession which serves only to paralyze a global war to defeat terrorist killers.

Islamic extremists use mosques to raise funds, recruit and plan attacks. In Pakistan tribal areas, Taliban and al Qaeda use mosques as safe havens and as munitions stockpiles. Imams, Muslim religious leaders, use their positions to preach hate and encourage violence, citing verses from the Koran.

Rev. Peterson Repudiates NAACP’s Anti-Tea Party Resolution and Blasts Michelle Obama for Embracing Racist Black Group Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, Founder and President of BOND Action, is repudiating the NAACP (National Association for The Advancement of Colored People) for passing a resolution condemning members of the conservative Tea Party movement as “racists.” The NAACP is charging Tea Party members with using “racial epithets” and accusing them of engaging in “explicitly racist behavior.” Rev. Peterson is calling the NAACP’s claims “baseless” and is blasting First Lady Michelle Obama for appearing as the keynote speaker at their annual convention.

Obama, Hitler, Lenin billboard covered up

MASON CITY—The billboard comparing President Barack Obama to Adolph Hitler was covered up this morning.

The sign, located in the 600 block of South Federal Avenue, was ordered and paid for by the North Iowa Tea Party organization, according to the billboard company.

The North Iowa Tea Party began displaying the billboard last week. The sign shows large photographs of Obama, Nazi leader Hitler and communist leader Lenin beneath the labels "Democrat Socialism," "National Socialism," and "Marxist Socialism."

The billboard drew international attention.
Oakland police chief: Budget cuts mean we can’t respond to certain crimes anymore

Chief Anthony Batts listed exactly 44 situations that his officers will no longer respond to and they include grand theft, burglary, car wrecks, identity theft and vandalism. He says if you live and Oakland and one of the above happens to you, you need to let police know on-line.

Some 80 officers were to be let go at midnight last night if a last-minute deal was not reached. That's about ten percent of the work force.

Felons Put Franken Over the Top - Moonbattery

It's no secret why our Democrat rulers will not tolerate the enforcement of immigration law: Third World peasants, who will be the first to wind up on welfare as taxes and regulations strangle the economy, reliably vote for them. The same is true of felons — fortunately for lame comedian and unhinged ultra-left blowhard Al Franken, who rode their illegal votes into the Senate:

A new study by the Minnesota Majority found that at least 341 convicted felons in heavily Democratic Minneapolis-St. Paul who voted illegally in the 2008 Senate race. And it looks quite likely that felons gave Franken his narrow Senate victory.

The six month vote recount in the Senate race was a torturous process. The morning after November 4, 2008 election, Senator Norm Coleman lead Al Franken by 725 votes. Correcting for typos cut Coleman's margin to 215, and a recount by all the counties reduced it further to 192.

Once the state canvassing board had looked into the intent of voters and counted 953 previously rejected absentee ballots, the final total had reversed that count and handed Franken a 312 vote victory.
This should not be a surprise, especially after the results of the Minnesota Majority study. With this small number of votes separating the two candidates even just hundreds of illegal voters can alter the outcome. By any measure, felons overwhelmingly vote for Democrats.

WTF!! The Amish run afoul of Obama regulators?

The Obama administration has developed a keen interest in the Amish folks of Lancaster County, Pa., due to their lifestyle and not their carbon footprint. The cattle on their dairy farms produce milk and manure.

It is claimed that great piles of manure are the source of pollutants from Lancaster County to the Chesapeake Bay due to run-off from heavy rains. Lancaster County is far from the Chesapeake Bay.

Agents have been dispatched to "educate" the Amish in methods the Obama administration requires for lifestyle changes. They use no electricity and few automobiles, so how dare they live without government assistance?

There is no information given on how the administration determined their manure was the particular pollutant.

How was that particular pollutant identified after being mixed with waters of the Potomac, which also carries runoff from Washington, D.C.?

Is this an attempt to blame the Amish for the pollution caused by all the "BS" in Washington, D.C., or is this just the result of the president's search for an ass to kick?

Here are some Bible verses that Pres. Obama avoids:
Proverbs 19:10 (NIV): "It is not fitting for a fool to live in luxury - how much worse for a slave to rule over princes!"
Also Proverbs 30:22 (NIV) which says that the earth cannot bear up under "a servant who becomes king."
And Ecclesiastes 5:2-3 (KJV) advises: "let thy words be few...a fool's voice is known by multitude of words."
Although Obama is not descended from slaves, he may feel that he's destined to become a black-slavery avenger.
Or maybe an enslaver of all free citizens!

Also Google "Mayor 'Napoleon' Bloomberg."

Bristol Palin IS an idiot. The timer was running out on Levi Johnston's 15 minutes of fame, so he's back to put some more change in the meter. He's a slimeball opportunist, nothing more. That apology he issued is worth about as much as one of Obama's promises.

As to the billboard ... I'm having a hard time believing that was actually endorsed by a tea party group. As a member of our local tea party, I have seen the decision process involved in producing signs and videos and the strict guidelines that we follow in accepting material for the blog. The whole point of appointing a board is to preserve the message and the image of the tea party, and to maintain its credibility. This would not have passed scrutiny here, I am quite sure. Individuals may certainly feel that this is an apt comparison and they are free to voice that opinion. However, this would not have received our tea party's endorsement.
