The Suicide of the West, President Obama's neo-socialism, Federal Government + Teachers Unions = Taxpayer Ripoff, America's Ruling Class, Racist Cartoons? Crazy Bitch Watch, New Law Bans Marriages Between People Who Don't Love Each Other

Conservatives and the Suicide of the West - AIM
James Burnham’s 1964 classic, The Suicide of the West, was on my mind when I heard that Rush Limbaugh had homosexual entertainer Elton John perform at his wedding. Limbaugh is a great conservative entertainer, but he could have picked better entertainment at his own wedding. Such a decision carries great weight. It says that Limbaugh himself is giving up on fighting the social and cultural war and that he wants to “make peace” with the Hollywood left that has been so determined to vilify and destroy him.

Then I heard that Ann Coulter is speaking at the GOProud homosexual convention and that Republican Senator John Cornyn of Texas is making an appearance at the homosexual Log Cabin Republican dinner. Before that, Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels had called for a “truce” in the cultural war. It looks like surrender or suicide to me.

The Burnham book is about liberalism being the ideology of suicide. Why are so many conservatives ready to jump to our deaths by pretending that liberalism’s practitioners can be appeased or accommodated? It is because money takes precedence over anything else. The gays pay good money, and they have lots of it. Some Republicans want some of the largesse.

The $1 million Limbaugh reportedly paid to hire Elton John would have been better spent on social conservative groups trying to preserve traditional values, including marriage between a man and a woman. God knows that groups like Peter LaBarbera’s Americans for Truth could use the assistance. Dozens of Marxist-led mean and angry “gay rights” demonstrators showed up in Chicago to protest LaBarbera’s premier Truth Academy. They fear the truth about the destructive aspects of their so-called lifestyle.

Peak Obama - The American Spectator

The ever worsening jobs and unemployment numbers give only a partial picture of America's suffering under President Obama's neo-socialism.

Thirty-one months after the start of the recession, last week's jobs report for July was a fiasco. The Labor Department reported yet another 131,000 jobs lost in July. The Department also revised the June report downward to show 221,000 jobs lost that month from 125,000. The unemployment rate remained at 9.5% only because 181,000 additional discouraged workers left the work force, and so were not counted as unemployed. That makes one million who have fled the work force since April.

As this column has repeatedly noted, the historic data recorded by the National Bureau of Economic Research shows that the average recession since World War II has lasted 10 months, with the longest previously being 16 months. What is President Obama's excuse for still losing hundreds of thousands of jobs 31 months after the recession began?

Bailing Out Teachers - The American Spectator

This is your federal government coupled with the teachers unions: total education spending grew by 32% percent between 1999 and 2009, while K-12 enrollment has grown by less that 1% each year over the same time period.

Democrats on Capitol Hill are literally taking food out of the mouths of the most needy to pay back their political cronies. Today, the House will vote on the infamous Bill with No Name, H.R. 1586 (originally the FAA Air Transportation Modernization and Safety Improvement Act), which contains a $26.1 billion bailout for financially strapped state governments. Much of the money will go to public employee unions, in the form of a $10 billion "Education Jobs Fund" to supplement state education costs. This comes on top of a $53.5 billion bailout of unionized teachers in the State Fiscal Stabilization Fund -- some of which is still unspent. Worse, the new legislation would impose $9.7 billion in permanent tax increases.

Enough - National Review - The Corner

The contempt for ordinary Americans displayed by the ruling class is reaching critical mass. There may never have been a time in American history when the governing, academic, cultural, and media elites have been more manifestly disdainful of the country’s values, traditions, principles, and people.

Individuals who express sincere concerns that the polices and practices of the elites are imperiling the nation’s economy and security are branded as racists and xenophobes by the anointed: A diminutive mayor who appears to conflate a talent for acquiring wealth with omniscience lectures that anyone who opposes the erection of a mosque on the site where 2,700 Americans were slaughtered by radical-Islamic terrorists must be motivated by religious intolerance; tea-party activists who protest the federal government’s insane spending spree are motivated not by horror at a $13,300,000,000,000 debt but by racial animus toward the chief fiscal incontinent residing in the White House; those who voted to maintain the central institution of civilization were actually voting for bigotry and oppression.

Every Bill Should State Its Constitutional Authority, Republican Congressman Says - CNS News

(CNSNews.com) - A Republican congressman says all bills introduced in Congress should include a statement setting forth the specific constitutional authority under which a law is being enacted.

Rep. John Shadegg (R-Ariz.) says his Enumerated Powers Act will force Congress to re-examine the role of the national government and curb its "ever-expanding reach."

"For too long, the federal government has operated without Constitutional restraint, creating ineffective and costly programs and massive deficits year after year," Shadegg writes on AmericaSpeakingOut, a Republican Web site that seeks ideas from the American people.

Shadegg says the trend of Congress overstepping its role has gotten "alarmingly worse" in the past 18 months.

By the time the grants end in 2011, taxpayers will have spent more than $250,000 for the study.

Free the Black Looney Tunes! - The Root

Yes, Coal Black and de Sebben Dwarves and Uncle Tom's Bungalow contain racial stereotypes and have long been suppressed. But it's time to lift the censorship and enjoy their joyous art.

This week, Warner Home Video is releasing two more in its majestic series of DVD sets of Looney Tunes, cleaned up to look more gorgeous than you could ever have imagined if you grew up watching them on TV. However, out of roughly a thousand Looney Tunes, we will not be seeing a certain Censored Eleven, and they are the ones focused on -- you guessed it -- black caricatures.

The titles alone of many give you a sense of why United Artists pulled them out of circulation in 1968: Coal Black and de Sebben Dwarves, Goldilocks and the Jivin' Bears, Clean Pastures, All This and Rabbit Stew, Tin Pan Alley Cats, Uncle Tom's Bungalow, Sunday Go to Meetin' Time, Jungle Jitters, Hittin' the Trail for Hallelujah Land, The Isle of Pingo Pongo and Angel Puss.

Woman Assaults McDonald’s Employee Over McNuggets

Melodi Dushane attacks McDonald’s employee.

TOLEDO, Ohio — A security video from a McDonald’s in Ohio shows a woman punching two restaurant employees and smashing a drive-thru window because she couldn’t get Chicken McNuggets.

The tantrum caught on tape in Toledo earlier this year shows the customer reaching through the drive-thru window, slugging one worker and then another. She then grabs a bottle out of her car and tosses it through the glass window before speeding off.

It happened early on New Year’s Day. Police say Melodi Dushane was angry that McNuggets weren’t being served, because it was breakfast time.

Dushane says she was drunk at the time. She was sentenced to 60 days in jail last month and ordered to pay McDonald’s for the broken window.

VIDEO: New Law Would Ban Marriages Between People Who Don't Love Each Other

The Onion pokes fun at the hypocrisy of California's Prop 8 and the nation's obsession with it.

New Law Would Ban Marriages Between People Who Don't Love Each Other

What I said earlier....

The majority of marriages frankly are a fucking sham. We all know the divorce rate has been hovering around 50 percent for decades. I’ve know and currently know a number of wedded couples who consider themselves married and they are nothing more than glorified roommates who simply have gotten so use to each other that they are scared of the notion of divorce so they choose to remain chained to each other no matter how miserable them make each other.

Who shoots an 8-year-old kid and why?

How messed up do you have to be to go ballistic over chicken nuggets?

The world is an asylum.

If you have had two failed marriages; how can you sit and say they are all SHAMS? Apparently you wouldn't know a good marriage if it kicked you in the nuts. You would have to know what make a good marriage work in order to draw an INFORMED conclusion. Why don't you just stick to blowing hot air about politics and stay out of a REAL MANS world. Happy bitching!!!

Ah ain’t that cute I got under someone’s skin you must be one of those lazy good for nothing skanks who is overweight bitter and questioning yourself.
I’ll think of something else to write about and piss you off more, that tis what I do best and you no doubt will still keep coming here and grinding your teeth wondering what I’m going to say next.
if you really did not give a fuck about what I say you would not come here, my words don’t mean shit right? But you damn sure will keep reading asshole right?

It is seriously illogical for someone to chastise someone for their opinion and candidness and then waste your seemingly precious time commenting on it. How big an asshole must you be!?

Giving a f does not have to equate to agreeing. Some people do not realize that fact. So rather then name call why not maturely and logically answer challenges to your viewpoint?? If there is an answer.
