Stop the illegal alien student bailout now: DREAM Act Senate phone list - Michelle Malkin

Last Friday, I dissected Harry Reid’s cap-and-gown illegal alien amnesty — i.e., the DREAM Act amendment to the defense authorization bill up for a vote this week.
Last Wednesday, I warned you about the shamnesty Republicans who have voted and sponsored past DREAM Act nightmares.
The open-borders lobby is out in full force to get the illegal alien student bailout passed. The NYT this morning pleads with the McCain/Soros Republican wing of the party to come back to the DREAM Act fold. Alinsky’s avenging angels are pounding the pavement, staging rowdy sit-ins, and shutting down traffic to get what they want.
As the Socialist Worker Online puts it: They are “undocumented and unafraid.”

What 'Republican establishment' is the Tea Party rattling? - Washington Post

The Republican establishment, we are told, has suffered quite a beating at the hands of a 41-year-old Delaware woman by the name of Christine O'Donnell.

The Time magazine cover says the Tea Party's "conservative rebels are rattling the Republican establishment." ABC News says the Tea Party landed "a huge blow to the GOP establishment," and CNN says it sent "shockwaves to the Republican establishment." George W. Bush ad man Mark McKinnon tells USA Today "there is now a civil war within the Republican Party," pitting the Tea Party against "the Republican establishment."

David Brooks: Tea partiers are narcissistic, egomaniacal, self-righteous people who distort the truth! - Hot Air

Along the way, the movement has picked up some of the worst excesses of modern American culture: a narcissistic sense of victimization, an egomaniacal belief in one’s own rightness and purity, a willingness to distort the truth so that every conflict becomes a contest of pure good versus pure evil.

Al Sharpton Tolerates and Justifies Hate Speech, Then Blames the Victim - All American Blogger

Rev. Al Sharpton and the NAACP once again lobbed charges of racism at the Tea Party, this time from the New Jersey NAACP state convention in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

The focus of the convention was, according to organizers, the “all-out assault on civil rights as the mid-term elections approach.”
What could be leading this assault?
The Tea Party, of course.

Sharpton was the keynote speaker. On Saturday, he told the crowd, “the basis of the Tea Party is antithetical to civil rights.”

He also said, “We are in trouble in terms of civil rights in this country.”

Misunderstood and misrepresented, the Tea Party is a genuinely democratic movement with growing political power - Telegraph UK

First they were ignored. Then they were derided as the tools of Big Money. Then they were branded as racists, the unhinged, the unwashed, the paranoid, the subversive and the ignorant - or some combination thereof.

Now, they stand accused of aiding and abetting the enemy by splitting the Republican party and giving Democrats hope for the November mid-terms. It has been a rough ride for members of the Tea Party in the 19 months since their movement sprung up.

But each insult and attempt to marginalize them seems only to have stiffened their resolve and swelled their numbers. Polling indicates that they are now more popular than either Republicans or Democrats. Despite all the claims they are extremists, around half of the electorate now identifies with the Tea Party and up to a quarter view themselves as members.

The time for them to be taken seriously is long overdue. The Tea Party will be pivotal in November. It has ripped up the playbook for the 2012 Republican primaries. And it could just end up kicking President Barack Obama out of the White House.

Obama Warns CBC: “They’re Trying To Turn The Clock Back” - The Root

President Obama, who has been accused of avoiding racial issues, jumped into the lion’s mouth Saturday when he made an unannounced appearance at the Congressional Black Caucus’ annual Washington conference and called on his most loyal constituents to resist plans to change the course his administration has set for the nation.

Without naming the Republican Party, the president warned that his opponents want to “turn back the clock” and reverse many of the changes he has made in the first two years of his administration. “I need everybody here to go back to your neighborhoods, to go back to your workplaces, to go to the churches, and go to the barbershops and go to the beauty shops, and tell them we’ve got more work to do,” Obama said to cheers from a black-tie audience at the Washington Convention Center. “Tell them we can’t wait to organize. Tell them that the time for action is now.”

Stunner… Obama Family Attends Church – Disregards Church Rules - Gateway Pundit

President Obama attended church on Sunday for the first time since April as an increasing number of Americans believe – falsely – that he is Muslim, not Christian.

The entire First Family walked from the White House across Lafayette Square Park to St. John’s Episcopal Church, the quaint house of worship informally known as the Church of the Presidents.

The Obamas sat a few rows back from the altar among about 40 worshipers.

The President and First Lady Michelle Obama, along with their daughters, went up for Communion.

Obama last attended church in Washington on Easter Sunday, April 4.

Of course, the fact that the whole family received Communion shows complete disregard for the Anglican Church rules.

Bill Maher: Obama Would Be A Better President 'If He Was Fully Black'- Newsbusters

Bill Maher on Friday said Barack Obama's problem is "he's only half black." He'd be a better president "if he was fully black."

In the season premiere of HBO's "Real Time," while chatting with former Clinton labor secretary Robert Reich, the host said, "Isn't Obama's big problem is that he does everything half-assed? Maybe it's because he's only half black."

Senate Democratic candidates backing away from President Obama's tax plan - The Hill

Senate Democratic candidates are wavering over whether to support President Obama’s plan to raise taxes on families earning more than $250,000 a year.

At least seven Democrats in battleground states say they support or could support extending tax breaks for families who make more than $250,000.

House Democrats Pass Bill to Grill School Children about Sexual Preference - Human Events

At the House Energy and Commerce Health Subcommittee hearing last Thursday, Democrats passed a bill to require federal health officials to question anyone seeking services from Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) community health centers or other programs about their sexual orientation and “gender identity.”

Introduced by Rep. Tammy Baldwin (D-Wis.), H.R. 6109 requires HHS to obtain, retain and analyze sexual identity information from patients who seek healthcare, including children.
