A black manager at a Long Island T.G.I. Friday’s alleges that a racist boss warned him in 2008 not to vote for Barack Obama -- and fired him after he did.
In a federal discrimination lawsuit, Michael Verzillo says regional manager Tanya Edwards, who is white, asked him in September 2008 whom he’d for.
When he replied that he might vote for Obama, Edwards, 50, said the Bible predicted “a black Muslim will take power and destroy the world,” said Verzillo, 39, who filed the suit against Edwards and the national eatery chain last week. “She actually called me up on Election Day and said, ‘Are you going to vote?’ I said yes and she asked who I was voting for,’’ he said.
Reluctantly, I told her Obama, and again she told me that I was making a big mistake,” Verzillo added. After Obama won, she began a campaign against Verzillo and criticized his performance, he said.
Donald Fitzpatrick Sex Scandal: Former Boston Red Sox Clubhouse Manager Preyed On Boys Decades Ago
Long before revelations that former Penn State football coach Jerry Sandusky had allegedly sexually abused a number of at-risk youth, another high-profile predator used the cover of athletics to molest young boys.*********
Between 1971 and 1991, Donald Fitzpatrick, a long-time Red Sox clubhouse manager, systematically molested and abused nearly a dozen African-American boys in their hometown of Winter Haven, Florida, where the baseball team held their Spring training.

"I'll never forget him putting his mouth on my penis. I don't mind telling it now because I'm over it. But that stands out. And I'll never forget it."

Latest Obama controversy: Who's ID'd as organ donor - WND
Officials running a federal program that is considering redefining death are going to be seeking further public comment after members of the Christian Medical Association raised alarms about several problems, including what they believe would be an open door to pressure families to donate organs before their loved one has died.
The proposal could move the federal government closer into alignment with what has been proposed by longtime Barack Obama adviser Cass Sunstein.
Obama's "regulatory czar" was revealed in 2009 to have pushed strongly for the removal of organs from those who did not give their consent to becoming an organ donor.
In his book, "Nudge: Improving Decisions about Health, Wealth and Happiness," Sunstein and co-author Richard Thaler presented the possibility of the "routine removal" of organs because "the state owns the rights to body parts of people who are dead or in certain hopeless conditions, and it can remove their organs without asking anyone's permission."
