Do you understand how bad the Republican Party must be when it is more than likely that despite having the dumbest most incompetent idiot president likely in American history this crazy bastard I predict will win four more years.

Obama vs. None of the Above - The American Spectator  - 1/5/12

A vulnerable president will face an ambivalent GOP.
No matter how ineptly Barack Obama continues to govern, his chances of winning reelection remain strong. As the results from Iowa suggest, the GOP is too addled and divided to field a formidable and philosophically coherent opponent against him.

Say this at least for the Democrats: They have the sense to run nominees who actually support the platform of their party. This rudimentary task is too tricky for Republicans to perform. They haven't been able to locate in over a generation a presidential nominee who supports theirs. George Bush Sr., Bob Dole, George Bush Jr., John McCain, and now Mitt Romney in all likelihood: this is a dismal roll call of nominees with little to no interest in the ostensible platform of the GOP.

Out of this "Big Tent" came not a larger party, as its proponents promised, but a more bewildered and demoralized one. Romney's likely coronation is a symbol of this confusion, and not even Obama's outrages will be sufficient to cut through it.

The Great Conservative Sell-Out - Right Wing News
Much of the conservative punditocracy has declared that Mitt Romney is the consensus conservative candidate. If he is, he’s the least consensual consensus candidate in modern political history — the man can’t break 25 percent with a sledgehammer. While his supporters shout from the hills that Romney essentially tied for the win in Iowa, his glass remains three-quarters empty, with no-name Rick Santorum winning as much of the vote, Ron Paul winning nearly as much, and Newt Gingrich and Rick Perry combining for as much. The last time a Republican candidate captured the nomination for the presidency by winning Iowa with this low a vote total, his name was Bob Dole. A couple of years later, he was hawking Viagra.

Nonetheless, the word is out: The fix is in. Unbelievably, not a single anti-Romney television ad was run in the state of Iowa. And while a few conservatives — including yours truly — have come out and opposed nominating the most left-wing Republican in the field, many more conservatives have endorsed Romney’s candidacy.

The election is not just about jobs, it’s about the vision thing - Legal Insurrection

Would you vote for Obama if the nominal unemployment rate were down to 8% by November 2012? Or 7.5%, or 7%.
Of course not, because it’s about jobs but it’s not all about jobs.  It’s about what type of country this will be.  Will we be a country of individual economic freedom or cogs in someone’s ideological wheel.

Emperor Obama Decides To Change Immigration Rules Without Congress - Stop The ACLU

Obviously, anything so tiresome as dealing with the elected representatives of the American people is just too much for Mr. Hope And Change
(Fox News Latino) A senior member of the Obama administration said Thursday that the administration plans to change a rule to reduce the time the spouses and children of undocumented immigrants are separated from citizen relatives while they try to win legal status in the United States
Currently, undocumented immigrants must leave the country before they can ask the government to waive a three- to 10-year ban on legally coming back to the U.S. The length of the ban depends on how long they have lived in the U.S. without permission.

What does it mean when Americans make up half of the world's richest 1%?
By Jack Cafferty:
When I read these numbers I was stunned. I had no idea that Americans make up fully one half of the world's richest 1%.
When you look at the world's population as a whole, it only takes $34,000 a year per person - after taxes - to be part of the world's richest one percent. A family of four with after tax income of $136,000 would be among the world's richest.
60 million people make up the world's richest one percent. And, according to world bank economist Branko Milanovic, half of them - or 29 million people - lived in the United States as of 2005.
Another 4 million live in Germany. And the rest are scattered throughout Europe, Latin America and parts of Asia.
None of the world's richest 1% live in Africa, China or India - statistically speaking.
Although places like China and India are seeing economic growth, and people there are getting richer, they're starting from a very low base. This also means the emerging middle class in these countries isn't the same as the middle class in developed nations. No cars. No retirement plans. They don't own their own homes.
Milanovic says people in the world's true middle live on around $1,200 a year.
